What a fuckin game. The FTAS-Nimrods was the game of the year so far. WOW!

TBG, how can you not have a spreadsheat? You posted it somewhere in the draft thread?

The Empire has recently offered Pedro Guerrero for Darryl Strawberry and Wade Boggs for an infielder to be named later. Gerlost declined.

Just recently, The Empire has put a very enticing offer on the table for the struggling 2 time defending champions, The OC.

Pedro Guerrero for Reggie Jackson
Terry Pendleton for Harold Baines
Wally Joyner for Will Clark

Why stand still? Be creative, innovative. Think outside the box on the cutting edge.
Our generous offer to the OC is a win-win for both teams and we feel that the player swap will act as a catalyst for both teams in quest for a championship.

The OC has countered with Clark for Joyner in a one player swap.

The Empire has countered with Pendleton for Walling, Joyner for Clark, and Guerrero for Jackson in a package deal.

Lets see what happens. Negotiations are pretty tense here, but going in a friendly manner.

the oc prefers not to negotiate in public.  another pm has been sent to the empire.

It's a win-win deal. The OC has nothing to lose. They have a 4 game losing streak, and the pressure from fans and sponsors left them no choice but for change.

Pedro Guerrero is having a career year so far, and he is a wild card that can elevate The OC back to winning ways.
The OC reunites with Pendleton, and he is a solid ball player with the heart of a lion, .853 average with runners in scoring position.
The Empire gets Reggie who has an intimate history with Nomaa and The Darkside.
Will Clark is a trade off for Wally Joyner. In fact, Wally has better stats the last two Fantasy seasons.
Walling for Pendleton works for us, because this now paves the way for Ryno's ghost (Ryne Sandberg) to avenge dee nee as he is set to crack the starting lineup. Sandberg is 4-4 off the bench this year with 1 home run, 2 doubles, and 5 RBI.

All in all, the deal is a simple trade off and should work for both teams.

My new lineup is still in the works for week 7. nomaa is elated and is anxious to meet the new Empire team members as soon as possible.

The Empire got the better player in two out of the three swaps and Pendleton isn't so much better than Walling that it negates that.  The OC has won a title so maybe they know something I don't.

Two titles...

I'm tempting to investigate to see if The OC isn't trying to throw the season to get the first pick in next year's draft. But I trust the team's integrity, so I'll approve the trade.
Quote from: BeefMaster on 11/13/17, 08:32:00 AM
there are also folks complaining about the lack of Bobby Grich, Dwight Evans, and Willie Randolph.

Nacho

Can we get a recap of that apparantly amazing game that happened this morning?
