this movie was just on...and RBI'ers Marty Barrett, Wade Boggs, and Dwight Evans are all seen written on the scorecard that Ray uses to write down "Moonlight Graham, Chisholm, MN" on.

the lineup (at least the part i could see...i tried pausing but the stupid DVR menu was blocking the scorecard when I had it on pause)

they only show last names, but if you know your 80s baseball, it's easy to figure out

1. Jody Reed
2. Marty Barrett
3. Wade Boggs
4. Dwight Evans
5. Mike Greenwell
6. Sam Horn
7. Todd Benzinger

i can only assume that the last two batters are Rich Gedman and another outfielder.

looks to have been a 1988 Red Sox game they were at.

just judging from the roster that year, i would say that it was jim rice.  could have been burks, too.    ...or spike owen??

i doubt that burks or rice would have hit so low in the order...1 thru 7 are visible

could have been kevin romine, brady anderson...maybe pat dodson with benzinger in the OF?

if it was based on a real game, it was May 16th...

missing batters:

8. Cerone C
9. Anderson CF

it all fits...too bad there was no Gedman that day, we could have had a bonus RBI'er.
