Inflating Pitch Counts

Is it wrong to intentionally inflate pitch counts to wear down the opposing pitcher?

Is it wrong to intentionally play to wipe out the opposing pitcher's stamina by playing strangely (not swinging until there are 2 called strikes)?

I believe Strassy and I made a rule against this after we'd both take two strikes when our pitcher was up to bat and then would try to foul off pitches.

Absolutely frowned upon in straight pitch (purposely fouling pitches with 2 strikes, not taking pitches), but in curve do folks have an issue with it?  Seems like you could just strike them out more easily...

After some discussion, I believe Strassy and I came to a rule that for pitchers, we'd use straight pitch and swing on the first pitch, though this might have been one of the most recent rules we implemented.

We used to do the same.

Also, the shittiest thing in the world is when you want to intentionally walk a guy and the douchebag opponent doesn't step in to get hit and takes 4-6 pitches.

It's frowned upon but legit.  That doesn't make any sense but that's just how we play it.

Perfectly fine in anything goes, kinda dickish in straight pitch.

I don't try to foul off pitches with bad players/pitchers, but I'm not above taking two strikes in a playoff game.

We switched our rules a year or two back to do straight pitch down the middle, no fastballs or slowballs for pitchers.  Still no dinger, but definitely more hits for them.  We all approve...
