FRBI V controversy regarding the Artichokes line-up

No, not according to the draft sheet. I just looked at it.

This just may result in a forfeiture of some of their games. I guess TBT was not  aware of the exact position of his players when he gave me the lineup at the beginning of the season and I made the mistake of not double checking. Honest mistakes.

His current line-up needs to be changed in accordance with the rules  (3 of, 4 inf, 1 c).
The Artichokes have had 4 OF's in their starting line-up all year.

The Arthichoks have been using an illegal line-up all year according to the rules.

It was not intentional. We need to discuss and decide a solution for this unfortunate accident. Yes it sucks, but the Artichokes had an illegal line-up and I was just wanted to hear your thoughts about this.

Take Gladdn out of the lineup, and are the Artichokes at the same record? Better record? Or worse? They are neck and neck with the Chocolate Rain. nomaa's views on this will have a heavy influence.

Week 19 is suspended as well as the season indefinitely until this situation is resolved...meaning everybody in the league voice their views so we can decide.

If there is any conflict in resolving this, a vote will take place if it comes down to that.

I also need to wait for TBT to give me his new and legal line-up before week 19. The current illegal line-up shall not be accepted and needs to be changed in accordance with the rules ASAP.

I did not say all of their games if you look at the post I quoted. I said some. It was only a suggestion. I'm just trying to manage this delicate situation as fair as possible. I want everybody to say something about this so everybody is happy with the decision...

My suggestion for worse case scenario for the Artichokes, is that they forfeit 1 game against every opponent in the league. They have beaten everybody once.

My suggestion for best case scenario for the Artichokes is that no games are forfeited and their line-up is simply changed.

Another suggestion is that they forfeit their league games.

Or they forfeit only one game, say to Chocolate Rain.

Ha, i blame Attezz!  I went with whatever line-up he'd posted when the team was still his.  All I for some reason I remember Gladden as a 3rd baseman(?)

Remove gladden and put in franco in his place in the batting order.

Your views on this will be discussed with everybody. Your views on this do not decide what happens. Only contributes as to how we should proceed.

I take fault for not checking to see the line-up that TBT gave me before week 1 was in accordance with the rules.  TBT was filling in for Attez after Attez quit the league, and apparently TBT was not aware of the players exact positions when he submitted the line-up. Honest mistakes. The biggest was mine for not double checking all the starting line-ups to see if they are legal.

However, Attez submitted this lineup below, and he too made an honest mistake. I don't think he would try and cheat by submitting an illegal lineup, but it's not impossible.

I'm definitely up for giving TBT the benfit of the doubt.  If you put bruno in for gladden and then Franco in for Bruno you can even argue that the lineup is better...

I think TBT should only be forced to change his lineup and move on.

Darky, on the other hand, is hereby sentenced to live in an arctic socialist European country whose bars are full of the most hideous creatures on the planet.  

Another idea might be to suspend Bruno for the remainder of the season for fudging his eligibility.

Franco's speed is 140.  He has 20 less power than gladden, but also 10 less contact.  I would go with Franco over Gladden anyday myself.
