Scoring 0 runs through five innings was mindblowing.

You guys can do what you want with that line-up, that line-up can put up runs in any order.

Nice, I'm one game away from losing my second straight WS...

You guys still down for an all-star game btw? I should have the stats for the season done soon. There will be an awards ceremony.

Yeah, once stats are completed, we should have an All-Star game.  Do the results of that game determine who gets home-field advantage in next season's World Series?

Darky

We should vote on that.

Personally, I'd rather award it to the team with the best record, but I like to have input for my league...and votes.

Another point, that would mean that the teams from the Gantry/Dove divisions would stay in the same division. I'm pretty sure everybody will come back for next season. I thought the league went really well despite a couple of bumps that were resolved democratically.

darky, have you been able to comple the stats from all the fantasy seasons so we might have career stats for the next draft?

Fernando pitches a gem, Cunts take 3-2 series lead

IMPERIAL CENTER (AP) - F.Vlnzla pitched 6 dominating innings and the Cunts offense had a productive day as they mercy rule'd the Empire 12-2 in six innings.

The story of the night was Fernando's brilliant performance. The ace of the Cunt staff only gave up 2 earned runs off 8 hits in six innings of spectacular work. The lefty allowed no runs through the first five innings which paved the way for a Cunt mercy rule over the Empire.

The Cunts got good all around offensive production from their line-up. The Straw and Ripken each homered, and Laudnr drove in 3 runners which was more than enough for a game 5 victory putting them one win away from winning the FRBI World Series.

The Empire appeared uncharacteristically flat on offense and failed to mount any kind of threat while the game was still close in the first 4 innings.

The series will now move back to Boston and game 6 is scheduled to go on Sunday night.

The Empire, who are a better road team, will now have to win two games in two days against a very talented Cunt ball club. The Cunts are tough at home and the general consensus among the media is that the Empire will need a lot of breaks to go their way to overcome a 3-2 deficit in the series.

Sally Cunts lead the series 3-2

Can't wait for game 6.  I'm glad we put Lopes at the bottom of the lineup, if for not other reason than because if he gets pinch-hit for, it will be with Coleman, who is a similar player.  As it stood, we had been pinch-hitting for Ripken, who has a lot more power than Coleman, and we don't want to take Ripken's pop out of the bottom of the order like that (although Coleman has come up big in his appearances).

I gotta say that our bottom of the order has been the difference-maker, especially with a cold top 3 so far this series.  I don't think the Empire's bottom of the order can hang with Laudner and Ripken, though they have some dangerous bats in the heart of their lineup.

i'm basically asking you or someone to compile all the stats into one career spreadsheet.  i think it would help the greater good.

J.Rice and D.Murphy take over game 6, force epic game seven

BOSTON (AP) - J.Rice and D.Murphy showed their veteran leadership as they had perfect days at the plate by going a combined 14-14 with 4 home runs, 4 doubles and 11 RBI's. D.Cox was in form by only allowing 3 earned runs through the first four innings en route to a complete game win as the Galactic Empire won convincingly 21-13 to capture game 6 and setting the stage for game 7.

The Empire jumped out to a 14-3 lead going into the bottom of the 5th inning and were never really seriously threatened. D.Cox's brilliant complete game was a major reason the Empire won today.

The real story of the day was the offense of the Empire. D.Murphy got things started with his towering 3-run shot in the first inning which seemed to capture the momentum right away. R.Knight (5-6, two 2B's, 1 HR, 2 RBI) kept the momentum going as he homered and doubled in the top of the second and K.Gibson hit a 2-run blast that left the Sally Cunts stunned 10-1. A.Tramml also had a huge day as he jumpstarted the Empire by going 6-7 at the plate with a home run, 2 doubles, crossing plate 6 times, and knocking in 3 runners.

"Our backs were to the wall and we felt the pressure was on them, we feel good about our chances for game 7, but we know we must play at our best to win the do or die game 7. Nobody wants to be defeated, both teams have shown how funky and strong is our fight", said manager Darkside.

J.Morris will take the ball while F.Vlnzla will oppose him on the mound for the highly anticipated game 7 tomorrow at Bill Belichick Stadium.

Series tied at 3

Heath and Knight can hang dude. Barret is our wink link but has a lot of heart. Laudnr has been known to disappear with his low contact rating and Knight can be productive with his contact-power ratings. Heath can put up productive days, but he can also disappear. Nothing fancy, just productive.
Barret's weakness in our line-up is balanced by our edge in pitching. Cox is a better number two starting pitcher than Sbrhgn. I think our bullpen slightly edges yours. Nothing dramatic, but we do have that overall pitching edge while you guys have the hitting edge.
