I'm thinking of compiling a collection of the rookie cards of all players on the NES rom (I'm calling it a rom, holy shit!)  Some would be pricey, but I mean how much is a Mookie rookie selling for?  Good homage to the best game ever.

Still can't wait for on-line play to be as easy as logging on.  Drink on, people!
I don't know what I'm doing.

Good luck getting a Nolan Ryan rookie...or a Mike Schmidt rookie...or Reggie Jackson...or George Brett...

A nice idea, but a shitload of money, too.  Perhaps autographs are the way to go?  If so, lemme say:

Good luck getting a Donnie Moore autograph...

The dee nee tard mixed in with gantry looks a little bit like TBT

I have a Mike Schmidt rookie, but even with that it's too damn expensive to get all rookies.  Maybe should get 86 & 87 cards (or would that be 87 & 88?) for all RBI'ers and all card companies (Topps, Fleer, Donruss, Leaf?) - I'm sure you can also hunt down those weird cereal cards and the like...

I belive Todd Worrell was a rookie all-star or whatever they called it in 1987.  Had the little trophies on their card.  I remember the great Bruce Ruffin was also a trophy card...

I was going through some old cards (my father used to own a sportscards shop) and was pulling out RBI'rs one night not too long ago :P

I have the complete Twins set of '88 Donruss - ugly cards, but it's got all the RBI-ers.  I wouldn't be surprised if I have at least one card of every guy in RBI, but probably very few rookies, as most of my cards are '88 or newer.

When my house got broken into a couple months ago they went through all my boxes of cards and took all my autographs and anything in a hard plastic case and basically just threw shit everywhere.

When we were cleaning up we started pulling out RBI players and came up with about 200 just from a few boxes.  Eventually the plan is to go through all my cards and get the RBI players out but it's going to require a lot more time and effort than I'm willing to put forth right now.

Baines may have hit a homer with Baines, yelled Baines and immediately changed into a Baines jersey.

I thought of doing something like this to liven up my RBI arcade machine.  The sides had a Nintendo decal on them (used to be a Donkey Kong cabinet), but they are torn off, leaving only the white sticker backing.  I thought it would be cool to take the 86/87 Topps cards and adhere them to the sides of the cabinet.  I thought I'd maybe put a clear coat over the top, then, so they don't peel off.

Thoughts?!?

That would be absolutely incredible.  You would definitely have to laminate the whole thing or hang plexiglass on it to save the cards.  Pictures are an absolute necessity if you go through with it.

I just wiped my ass then smelled the toilet paper.  What's wrong with me?

the dude either has some high float or a mess between the cheeks.

Good idea EDfan.  We may have to do the same thing.
