Isn't Double Impact a straight film ripoff of Double Dragon?

Van Damme turned down a role to be in "The Expendables." That must be the stupidest thing ever this side of Larry Anderson for Jeff Bagwell.

"JCVD" is supposed to be an incredible movie from what I've heard. Check it out if you guys haven't seen it, as I will too.

Though I never saw Double Dragon, based on the game the plotlines are quite a bit different. 

I keep hearing good things about JCVD too, really need to see it.  I literally never go to the video store anymore, I should really give Netflix a shot already

Sorry dude, I meant the first video game for the NES back in 1988. I think Double Impact is a direct Video Game ripoff movie. Doesn't Van Damme play a pair of twins in that movie?

Say what you want about Van Damme's lame 90's career...Bloodsport and Kickboxer are incredible martial arts flicks.

Double Dragon is its own movie (based off the video game) with the dude from Party of Five.  Double Impact isn't based off a video game and doesn't have anything to do with Double Dragon.

Newbie? I've been following this site for over 2 years. It's only been recent I decided to finally join the boards and coerce with you fine people. Van Damme is a horrid actor, but he's a pretty awesome martial artist...a bit dated, but still awesome.
