Another at bat, another double.  3-3 on the game and 6-12 on the day.  Twins have no answer for Tiger bats

edfan

Pop out to short to end the inning.  3-4 in the game.  6-13 on the day.  To disprove BDawks flawed logic, had Sheridan got on base, I would be up by 10 and would be able to move to the next game

edfan

Managed to bat around in the next inning so Sheridan got another at bat.  Translation:  Sheridan ends 2 innings in a row.  3-5 on the game and 6-14 on the day.

Sheridan squeaks another through the infield and legs out a triple.  I am beginning to call this his max ability.  I expect nothing more of him.  1-1 vs Houston.  7-15 on the day

edfan

Sat the game down when the dr called me back.  Game glitches.  Going to replay the Houston game now and will play the 2nd half of the season at another time this weekend

edfan

Sheridan is 0-1 on the restart game.  Weak pop up to the SS.  C'mon guy!

edfan

Another pop out to the SS to end the 3rd inning followed by a pop to the pitcher to end the 4th.  Take PS out of the equation and this game is probably over right now.  8-0 as it stands

edfan

0-3 in this game and 7-18 on the day.

edfan

Sheridan did manage a single to avoid the donut for the game.  1-4.  8-19 overall

Terrific thread, here.

It's really fucking good and a pleasant surprise.

I just wiped my ass then smelled the toilet paper.  What's wrong with me?

the dude either has some high float or a mess between the cheeks.

Getting ready to fire it back up for the 2nd half of the season.  Some commentary from the first half.

Alan Trammell is consistent as a leadoff guy
Kirk Gibson and Darrell Evans are as good as I remember.  Lots of homers and rarely disappoint.
Matt Nokes sucks compared to how I remember him as a kid
Pat Sheridan.....lolz
Chet Lemon is solid and underrated
Lou Whitaker is disappointing
Tom Brookens is ok, but slow
I gave Bill Madlock an at bat per game.  I was disappointed.  3-5 but no fireworks.  Very Sheridan-ish if I may say.

edfan

Here is an interesting 'glitch' from the 1at inning of the game vs NY.  Darrell Evans on 1st with 2 out.  Nokes pops up to SS.  I use Evans to try to distract the SS.  Doesn't work and he catches the ball.  However, Evans is the one that runs crying off the field instead of Nokes.  Weird.  Anyway, Sheridan subs in to start the top of the 2nd.  Stay tuned

edfan

Dribbler past the SS and Sheridan legs out a triple.  1-1 on the game and now 9-20 on the day.  Still waiting for him to show ANY glimmer of power.  Every batting slot on the whole team has at least 1 homer except for the pitcher and Sheridan.  Even Nokes has 2 and Whitaker 1

edfan

Sheridan flys out weakly to LF in his 2nd at bat.  That is followed by a 2 run bomb by Chet Lemon and then Lou Whitaker decides to go back-to-back.  I guess PS never visited the BALCO lab during his stint in San Francisco.  1-2 in the game and 9-21 on the day

edfan

Sheridan gets a single in his final at bat.  Almost got up again in a huge 4th inning, but Matt Nokes 'Sheridan'd' the 3rd out of the inning and denied a 4th AB to PS.  Game over after 4 innings.  On to St Louis.  Sheridan stands at 10-22 on the day.

edfan

Sheridan hits another squeaker past the SS and winds up with a double.  Nokes and Sheridan make for the weakest 1-2 combo since Gerry Cooney was getting pummeled by Larry Holmes.  Most subs would have accidentally hit a homer by now.  1-1 and 11-23 on the day

edfan

Nokes and Sheridan kill the 3rd with a fly out to CF and a line out to the Pitcher respectively.  Yes.  THE PITCHER!  PS is now 1-2 on the game and 11-24 on the day.  He is 24-24 on disappointing me

edfan

Sheridan with another dribbler past the middle infield.  These are all hits against the computer AI, but would be easy outs against a human over the age of 3.  2-3 on the game and 12-25 on the day.

edfan

Side note...Jack Clark is a one man wrecking crew and I cannot get him out.  Would be 9-0 if not for him, but instead is 9-4 on two 2 run homers by hin
