1993 was laughably late for an Apple IIC, remember any of the games you played on it?

Yes.  The two biggest hits between my brother and I were Mines of Titan and Family Feud.  There was also a Mario Bros clone that we spent quite a bit of time playing.  Games were hard to come by since the computer came from an educational environment and by that time, not many other people still had one for use as their primary computer.

Family Feud was always fun/frustrating regardless of system.  Don't recall Mines of Titan

got really good at math munchers as a kid. if you beat a couple levels they'd let you play oregon trail. the key was to have enough time to race thru the trail during the period, which were 45 minutes

For whatever reason, I don't know that our computer lab had Number Munchers (although my wife remembers it as her favorite elementary school computer game).  We played lots of Oregon Trail and Carmen Sandiego, and I remember an extended time when we played a game called Cross Country USA, a trucking simulator where you had to plan your routes on real-life maps and decide whether to speed in order to get to your destination faster (but with increased risk that you would get into an accident or get a speeding ticket).

that trucking game sounds awesome

by 6th grade, we installed drug wars with some other games on all the lab server whatever in a system of hidden folders.

we also used to mess with people's computers with tight vnc. not sure if having the detention kids link up all the computers after school was a great idea or an amazing idea

Mines of Titan is an RPG that is best described as a futuristic, dystopian Might and Magic with an overhead combat view.

The good news is that I'll be shutting down the site to do it, so hopefully it fixes this weird delayed posting issue.
