sorry i worded mine wrong...more features look better...but that batter angle they were using in the video for gameplay looked shittier.

I like it. But yeah it's closer to mlbts than rbi. Promising though

Comes out today.  I'm gonna buy it...

Alas, they are waving the big "Fuck off" sign at those of us who are still on the last console generation, and I'm not updating to an Xbox One just for RBI.

I still believe that they would have sold more copies (and had much lower development costs, since I assume that's what hosed us out of so many promised updates last year) if they'd basically just taken Turd's ROM as a base, and spent all their development efforts on putting a stat-tracking season mode and online play into original RBI.  Hell, you can do online play with existing emulators now, and I'm sure those have been written for all the major systems.

I totally get it.  I do.  That said, as far as the updates go, I'm in favor of the updated graphics...I think they nailed the presentation, they just needed some other features...

Turd

We always have my ROM for the retro style...still, these companies would do well to consult the communities that have kept the games alive for so long.

BeefMaster

Regardless of my complaints, had I the new system, I would definitely plan getting '15.  I thought '14 was a disappointment, generally, but it wasn't a BAD game, and I definitely got my twenty bucks' worth out of it.

NBA Jam might be a good comparison - the first version of the reboot had a few poor design decisions (no tag mode, screwed-up management of save states), and then they released "On Fire Edition" as a downloadable release a year or two later and completely nailed it.

Agreed, I have a suspicion this version will be worlds better than last year's...MLB the Show comes out today too.  I'll likely pick that up as well...I love teh baseball.

AGREED. Alas, I only have a PS3-- so bummed they aren't released it on that system for at least one more year-- I guess I'll just pick it up on iOS when that version is released.

What about iPhone???

Turd

Bought it, played it, loved it. Two season games in. One did crash on me. However, plays great and seems like it'll be great fun.
