I can't decide whether putting our best hitter at leadoff is genius (maximizing his plate appearances) or stupid (SO MANY SOLO HOMERS).  I'll support it for now and we can reevaluate if he's hitting a lot of dingers with no one on base.

Schedule for this season. I went with 14 games, since that's what I've done in my leagues in the past and, let's face it, if we get through three weeks you should be thrilled.

Everything sounds great Fighton! On the schedule, nomaaa's team is incorrectly abbreviated. He's the Rock City Diplomats  you got him abbreviated with a DC.

A 14-game season sounds splendid! It's gonna be a wild two years for Fantasy RBI VII

And you're positive with the errors set to 10?

I might dial the errors back to 8 after this week if it's crazy. I don't feel like it's going to be a major problem - a good chunk of the BOPs come on singles or the defense is able to recover to make the out. A little bit of randomness also helps to spice up the games.

So what you're saying is that you think it's time to spice things up a bit?

The thing is, the errors are crazy. And the defense never recovers. I've watched easily over a 80 games with the errors set to 10, and there are just too many that either ignite rallies or prolong rallies. I've seen teams make 6 errors in one game and rarely do both teams go under 2 errors. But screw it, your running the league and why not with the randomness. We'll see who will complain about the errors eventually since it'll cost them the game - and it may be more than one person. I can live with it, but just pointing this out. I set the errors to 2 when I ran the league since I can't stand errors and cheap runs when there are enough runs in this league. Mark my words though, there'll be an uprising about the errors no later than week 2

I like how GDavis has just completely taken over here! A power guy in the leadoff isn't bad at all. If the 8 or 9 hole get on with two outs, you have a potential 2-3 homer awaiting from the leadoff spot and with greater consistently to maximize runs. You guys have enough power in the lineup to get away with that. Darky's advanced scouts has your team projected to make the playoffs.

And by the way Fighton, are there 2 divisions or not? Do the top four make the playoffs, or will it be 6 teams with the top two getting a bye? And what will the playoff format be? WE ARE LEFT IN THE DARK HERE!

Ahem...

- I'm pretty sure I can handle getting the files onto YouTube.

- Each team plays each other two times. One division, top four advance to playoffs.

- Recaps are the most fun for me to do. I'll certainly keep your offer for help with scoring in mind.

- I like the idea of having to swap SPs every game. And I've never allowed RPs to start games, and wouldn't allow that here.

Fighton, quality control is needed here. Did you input the players yourself instead of switching around the players to get the teams set? Is the ROM you created made open to public viewing on the RBI editor? I bring this up since Krukow's name is shortened implying you did the input yourself and leaving that small chance for human error with the parameters for players.


And Fighton, sorry, I forgot to check the draft thread since you made the playoffs clear there. My bad and I apologize for my idiotness.

Yeah, I manually entered everything before I realized that the "Swap" feature in the editor also swaps between teams.
