dunno if you did this or not, but send fighton your lineup thru PM, as well

I did yesterday. I like doing these public announcements anyways. I was going to just not say anything and wait for the ROM, but Dee Nee is slow today. Also, the new change will strike fear into Tempo, the rookie owner!  ;D

Just make sure the sound guy in your stadium is playing "Sailing" by Christopher Cross when the ole man is warming up in the pen before the game!

FYI - I'm taking a few days to manually redo the stats, so the games might not start until later this week.

there are also folks complaining about the lack of Bobby Grich, Dwight Evans, and Willie Randolph.

Our players are going to be in their 60s by the time this thing gets going again...

Through rescoring Week 3 and half of Week 4 now. We'll start on Monday. Get any additional lineup changes in to me if you haven't yet.

tl;dr version - the app I have to score the games is fantastic - it's cut my time needed to actually score the games down by at least 50%. However, their stat keeping element leaves a lot to be desired, especially when it comes to league stats vs. an individual team. Especially in any league where players are dropped/added/traded.

So I'm going to go back to the Excel spreadsheet method for actually tallying stats.

Here are all of the relevant files for this week, including the ROM, rosters, stats, standings and schedule.

Please review your roster to make sure it's correct.

Tempo has mentioned a couple of times to flip-flop Guerro and Shrdan. Guerro takes Shrdan's spot in the lineup, and Shrdan takes Guerro's spot in the bench order. Hopefully Tempo can confirm soon so I don't look crazy here.

I'm just trying to help out a friend since he's already asked for the change twice! That's what friends are for  ;)

No, my inability to remember to flip Sheridan and Guerrero is almost comical at this point.

New ROM attached.

It worked out, but you have to question The Empire not pulling Sutton earlier and bringing in a closer to try and mercy rule that thing.

There was a great moment in computer fielding during one of the late innings when the EZ Listeners were attempting a mini-comeback: Runners at 2nd and 3rd, batter hits a routine grounder (I think maybe a comebacker to the mound but don't remember for sure).  Fielder throws home, then catcher relays to third... but before he made the tag on the runner coming home.  The runner beats the throw to third, and everyone is safe.  I was really hoping that would be a difference-maker, but it didn't end up that way.

It happens more often than you'd think and there are more ways that happens - I've seen too many games to know.

What happened there was that there were runners on second and third with two outs, and Will Clark hit a grounder to the SS. The SS threw it to 3B and before the 3B could apply a tag, he quickly threw it to home and the runner was safe.

Another way that happens is when there is a runner on 3B and a ground ball goes to the 1B or 3B. Either the 1st baseman or 3rd baseman will quickly throw the ball to home, and before the catcher makes the tag, he'll throw it to 1B and the runner will be safe by beating out the throw. I think it has happened in 3 other games this year. That was one break that went Tempo's way, but it wasn't enough to overcome all the breaks we got that game, plus the domination!
