Just imagine if they recorded the distance for the original RBI ........

Anyway, they both happened just last night, i was using the Tengen Team (programmers) like i always do (so much fun drilling homers!),  I bring in Whitfild off the bench (.350, 70 Hr) and he drills one 525 feet to right center!  In the same game, Garvey (.294, 34 Hr) pops one almost straight up, but it carries to the wall in left and barely over, 358 feet.

My record for a regular player is 496 by Darryl Strawberry, was off the bench too, i think all bench guys must get additional power, it's very noticeable.

I think RBI 3 still does the PH bonus like the original did, so big hits off the bench make sense. I was thinking that I usually topped out at around 476 ft. for homers - the super-long-distance ones I can picture were straight down the line, opposite field.

Oh yeah, duh i forgot about that from the original.  Dave Henderson used to do well off the bench, all the time for me, and Armas too, wonder why he was on the reserves in that one with 43 dingers. Tigers bench is still my favorite, i've looked at all the power ratings on the regular website, love that stuff!

Had the game of my life today, won 72-3 over '83 Chicago.  80 Hits, 40 homers.  Went 11-for-11 with Kurtzman (6 homers and 5 singles) in the leadoff spot.  Had zero Doubles and Triples in the game (goes quicker).

Runs by inning - 12, 3, 12, 3, 6, 3, 18, 7, 8

I read something about a 6-homer game by Kirk Gibson in RBI ......
