Your Shooties and Tempo's Tropicana should be a high scoring game - low 20s or low 30s. There'll be lots of hitting and the high error setting will certainly give extra at-bats. Both of your teams don't have any really low power hitters in the 7 and 8 hole and that should keep the hits and crooked numbers going. Gooden vs Ojeda - gotta llike Gooden there to at least keep the score down. I think if the game comes down to the pen, your team has a good shot. J.Niekro can get lit up fast. If Hack Wilson explodes, then that may a difference if Tempo's pitchers come with good stuff and that your team gets more X outs do to your below average team speed. Should be a good game with high scoring. I wanna see how Vida Blue pitches for once! Also, it would be funny to see the game come down to Tempo's pinch hitters that he took to weaken the Empire!

As for the Empire, we have a strong chance to go 3-0. Our hitters matchup good with M.Scott and Byleven and I've seen Spahn somewhat limit Tempo's nasty lefties. If Ryno's 7-8 hole has a productive day, Sandberg/MWills, then we'll need to match that or else. Those two guys are the weakest in terms of power for those two spots and they aren't going to rack up hits on average, but they make up with speed to maximize the production they do produce - if they both have multiple hit games, then that means more chances for Ryno's murderous lefties. My pitching staff will have to hit spots and we need to avoid errors. The sims have shown that I win about 70 percent of the time, but anything can happen once the roulette wheel is in motion. The Force will be with the Empire! And Rizutto will be getting his first ever FRBI start today! We got a hunch about him for this game from the 8-hole.

If Nomaaa's Jimmy Key gets the ball with a lead against Nacho's Old Stylers, I like the Blueberry Kings chances. Nacho's team has the potential to go silent after J.Foxx who is the 4-hole since the rest of the hitters don't have the best contact to power ratio. We'll see though since Lopes and Cey have been pretty productive thus far. Now if D.Cox is handed the ball with a lead, then it may be tough for the Blueberry Kings if his 6-7-8 don't show up. Cox has shown why he's elite thus far in this league - he helped the Empire to a championship in season V. Hard to say about this game, it'll come down to errors in a low scoring game.

Beef is do to explode and I think the Beefy Masters will get their first win against Fighton's Hollywood - Hollywood has struggled pitching and now they face the raw power of the Beefy Masters who have a chip on their shoulder.

Ultimate's team should win unless Tudor comes out dealing while Wilfng and Reynolds are productive. I think Ultimate's team has the better hitting and putting up runs in a hurry and in bunches - plus W.Ford is showing he is elite. It's anyone game if it comes to the pen since we don't know enough about each bullpen. The Bash Brothers are right now shooting each other up in the bathroom stall from what I've heard!

My team makes an untold number of mental mistakes.  We get thrown out at home in the bottom of one inning, then throw the ball to a base with no one at it twice in the top of the next inning.

I'm disappointed I didn't get to watch in real time, but that was a hell of a game. Brunansky is a disaster so far and I'm considering dropping him in the lineup. Also that's the first game where I've really noticed someone get bailed out by the mercy rule (which I forgot about and thought it was over) and almost come back.

In the bottom of the 8th when Evans was up with the bases loaded, I said to myself out loud "we really need a strikeout here" and did a yell and fist-pump at my desk when it actually happened.
