Plus, it's just too easy to walk around the Puckett through Bruno part of the order...and if you're a righty, you can pitch to Hrbek and if you're a lefty, you can pitch to Bruno or Puckett or Gaetti and just have to get one of 'em out in order to justify walking the rest.

Baines

I used to have a big MN vs CA rivalry with one of my friends.  I used to win most of our games so i always took MN in this series and i still won about 3/4 of them but they were always good games due to MN's inability to put anybody away.

Our typical game would be something like a 17-15 win where I would be up 8 or 9 runs going into the 9th and give up bombs to Reg, Dougie, Jones and Grich.  For some reason Grich would always abuse me in that series.

Because of the aggravation of these games, I can never look at the Twins objectively on RBI again.

Baines may have hit a homer with Baines, yelled Baines and immediately changed into a Baines jersey.

You know who's the best? Baines...

Bonny

Cardinals-Smallball is good.

Boston.  Rice, Evans, Baylor, Armas, and Hendu bring the pain.
I ain't no god damn son of a bitch
You better think about it baby

BDawk

I can't believe that STL is in the lead.

Don't forget Tim Burks.  He's one of the best lead off hitters in the game!

I vote for Bo, simply because I love starting the game pinch hitting with Armas and having him hit the long ball.  I'm not a huge fan of the pitching, though.  Hurst is where it starts and ends for Bo.

I love Detroit, but I end up gettin caught with my pants down in late innings bringing in morris.

You should start Morris, let him go six and by that time bring in Willie to close out the slaughter rule victory.  Works every time.  I don't trust guys named Doyle.

I just wiped my ass then smelled the toilet paper.  What's wrong with me?

the dude either has some high float or a mess between the cheeks.

PatSheridan

does it matter if its Straight pitch or slurve?

fknmclane

I'm a strict slurve player, but no, it shouldn't matter.

Well it's not the best team, but the favorite.  Many like the speed of STL, I like Krukow and Reuschel so I picked SF, I don't think they are the best.

Also, you should register, Pat

The Raiders are a successful organization

PatSheridan

Ah! Im retarded! Yeah I need to register, I found Gantrys sight last week and told my friends so they have been all over it this last week. Aparently we aren't the only ones that pass on hanging out with easy women to play Ribbey.

Gantry

Welcome Pat!

Wow...this is crazy.  I think Alexander is by far better than Morris.  Morris has little break on his ball.

You're a brave man for using that name. Let's hope you live up to it.
As far as King goes, I believe that Gantry has used him as a starter from time to time. I've tried it as well. Not too horrible.x

Gantry

Let me preface that I do not play curve, King seems to be quite awful in curve...

dvldog

so the favorite teams are the two that played in the World Series?

this poll surprises me.
