Wow.  I guess RBI isn't the only thing that Pedrique sucks at:

"Al Pedrique was 22-61 as interim manager when he took over July 2 after Brenly was fired."

To be fair to Al, it wasn't really his fault.  He was managing at best a mediocre AAA team.

Backman won't do a whole lot of good.  The DBacks will still suck balls next year.

I just wiped my ass then smelled the toilet paper.  What's wrong with me?

Don't update WATN yet, but Burks retired and wants to Manage AAA Pawtucket next year.  Watch for this.

What ever happened to Chris Speier?

Yeah, the Amazing Pedriq was a disappointment, but how 'bout them Diamondbacks keeping the RBI manager streak alive?  Brenly to Pedriq to Backman is a nice progression.  It's a shame that Showalter was not affiliated with RBI to make it a perfect 4 for 4.

Is it too late to guess the next D-back manager?  I'm guessing Lindeman.

Update: Despite revelations that he has been arrested twice and filed for bankruptcy, Backman will keep his job.

He was arrested after an altercation with a female family friend in 2001 and plead guilty to 4th-degree assault, and in 1999 he was arrested for DUI, which he fought for two years before pleading guilty.  He also recently filed for bankruptcy and has had several tax liens, although he blames the financial problems on stuff his ex-wife did.

This guy's a train wreck just waiting to happen.

Ha--kind of like the direction of this country,

Good hire by the DBacks.  I'm sure plenty of guys will want to play for Backman.  He's described as a fiery Larry Bowa type.  Couple that with a DUI and an arrest for assault and I'd say the DBacks are in for another fun year.  Way to go, Jeff Moorad (cocksucker.)

We can find out soon if our predictions are correct.

I had to double-check the RBI rosters for Bob Melvin, but dammit, they broke the streak.  I thought we'd have to wait at least a year to find out if we were right.  That was quick!  Nice work D-Backs!

everyone should memorize the lineups in RBI.  this way, people will not think Rickey Henderson was an RBIer.
