1. Do you have to pay for your own room or what not, and if so how much?
2. Is there only one room where the systems are set up, or a suite, or multiple rooms?
3. Do i need to bring my NES or anything like that?

Well, I suppose you don't have to pay for your own room--but if you don't, nobody else is going to, so you better plan on sleeping in the lobby.

There will be multiple rooms, each with a tournament game going...other rooms will probably have side games going.

3. Do i need to bring my NES or anything like that?

It'd be great if you can bring it...if nothing else, you know you'll have it for any side games you play...

For what it's worth, I just checked and the hotels set for McLane/USC, myself/malnu/TMT and the Flood family...

If anyone else wants to stay there, I'm going to be teaching the overnight chick how to cheat the system tomorrow so PM me your info (name and such, if you don't want me to have your address that's cool), and I can still probably grab a few more rooms at the 39 a night rate...

And the Ramada is right across the street from the Comfort Suites, so, that'll be sweet. And mine/malnu/tmt's room is right next door (possibly connecting with) McLane/usc's, and yes, I'll be sending out McLane's discount card by the end of the week, probably tomorrow at work, but I can't make promises.

First Round Match-Ups:

Wow, a fightonusc vs. fknmclane match-up in Round 1. Hey, at least one of us is going to get a victory in the tournament. Certainly the most intriguing match-up from a personality standpoint - it might make for a more awkward night's sleep on Friday night...

Gantry sure didn't get any favors done for him by drawing Foster in the first round. Ouchie!

The Beales/Attezzobal match-up is probably the most interesting from a game-play standpoint in the opening round. Certianly, it's going to be a tough match-up for both players, I would think.

Riley vs. CurtFlood also could be an upset special (not predicting anything, just saying)...

Any other thoughts?
