Shit, shit, shit...I sort of expected this, for them to sell out as it's the summer...

So, these are the two that currently offer it, so when you make the reservation, go to the "choicehotels.com" homepage, at the left side select "Enter Special Rate ID" there, enter "00062195" then search for Columbus Ohio, and if on the right side it says "Check Rates" as opposed to "Not Available" that means they offer it (currently it's just the Sleep Inn and Comofrt Suites in Hillard)...

Flood, what rate were you quoted when you made the reservation?

$85 a night...$170 total.  This is the second hotel I've made reservations for...are we now going with another?

This is true.  No more discounted rooms at that hotel.  I'm probably just going to go with the $85 room and stay one night instead of two.

If you go that route Baines, book one night and we'll find you a room to stay for night two.  That way it evens out, pay for one night and get a free room the second night.  Even if you gotta pass out on the floor, we'll find a spot for ya.  No need to cut the trip short because of money, we don't get too many of these chances...

Totally agree with Gantry.  These rooms are suites, bitches.  I got two queens and a pullout in my room and a shit ton of floor space.  I"m thinking you bastards are gonna sleep where you fall anyway.  So like Gantry said, I'm sure we can find a spot somewhere.

Thanks fellas.  I figured if worst came to worst I'd just find a friend to crash with in Columbus but would much rather spend as much time as possible at the hotel where everything's going on.  I'm cool with wherever you guys have room because when I'm on a trip I usually end up on couches/floors/balconies/bathtubs anyway. 

And for Gantry, there's plenty of PBR up there, haven't seen any Old Style (though I saw it here for the first time yesterday so it may be moving into the area) but I also wanted to let you know that I plan on supplying you with your first 15 pack of Blatz.

Beautiful, I intend to bring at least a 30 pack of Style from Chicago maybe 60.  I intend to try all sort of bad beers on this trip, really expand my pallette..

So...we basically switched to a more expensive hotel in order to get a 'discount rate', but now we can't swing the discounted rate?  That's fine...I just wanna get this straight.  $170 is a bit steeper than I wanted to go is all.  Especially since the first place Joe picked was $49 /night or something.

Curt...Sorry about all that, it was kind of confusing but, McLane/USC and myself/Malnu got the 39 rate, we've got room for one more in our room if you'd want to join in...Like I said, the Comfort Suites (In Hilliard) and the Sleep Inn (I guess on the other side of Columbus) both offer the 39 dollar rate if you'd want to switch there and cancel your room at the Comfort Suites, or I'm sure the Extended Stay is still offering the 49 dollar rooms...

If you choose to use either of the other two at the discounted rates, you MUST enter the special rate ID of 00062196 and be quoted at the $39 a night...Sorry if it was confusing earlier...The only other thing I can suggest would be, if we wanted to keep everyone in the same hotel, I can book all the rooms at either of those two others at the same time (such as tomorrow, as I'm about to leave work) and have the rooms under my name and then call them and change the names that the rooms are under, however, that would require switching hotels...But then again, there's a decent amount of time before the tourney, I guess, ultimately, it's up to Joe...But if we switched to the hotel in Hilliard I can guarantee that we can all get the$39 room rate (as long as we reserve the rooms within a week)...I hope that made a modicum of sense, private message me if you need anything else or anything...

Well, I'm all for the greater good, but  please note that Hilliard is significantly farther from the airport than the current location.  Hilliard is probably close to a half hour away, whereas the current location is within 5-7 minutes.

But if we can get discounted rates for everybody and everybody wants to move to Hilliard, I'll do it.

It does not matter to me at all...  What about the place that is $49 a night, is that in Columbus?  Would be nice to stay in Columbus proper for the sake of going out, but I don't know the area...
