I emailed Gantry about this but apparently he did not think it was that important.  I sent an email to Bert Blyleven on behalf of our forum, offering to console him on the death of his father, with the James Taylor rendition of the RBI music.   Enjoy his response below.

Hey Jeremy,

Thanks for the sympathies for my dad and please say hello to all your e-mail friends.  Keep me pitching good and make sure I don't give up too many HR's.
Good luck and GO TWINS,

Bert Blyleven

That's completely awesome. I hope Bert gets into the Hall even more now...

On a related note, by e-mail to Rupperto has been totally big leagued so far. No response or anything. You don't want bad Dee-Nee karma, Ruppert!

there are also folks complaining about the lack of Bobby Grich, Dwight Evans, and Willie Randolph.

Bert's a quality guy...

My apologies for not releasing it sooner, email is backlogged.  Still have a few RBI emails I haven't read this week, probably should do that now...

Just what the hell kind of leader are you, anyway?  Next thing you know, we're gonna have posts about nuts in butts and whatnot.   :-\

I'm almost a midget - I'm concerned that if I ever meet Gantry, he might try and toss me through a bar window. Although I doubt he could lift that much...
