I'm not sure if this has been a poll yet, but I believe it's a question worth exploring. I know I've read that the dee-nee founders hate it, but most people I know like it.

Mike D.

I like it.  Especially when it kicks into "Danger Mode".

I love it.   :-\

I would never consider playing with the music muted.  How can you hear the fastball coming?  ???

i definitely like the music, but play without volume because it gets tiresome.  that doesn't mean i don't like it, it just means i don't want to hear it for 3 hours, which is my average RBI sit time.

Gantry

No, no, no and no...

I'm with Big Apple.  Love the music, but just can't listen to it for more than a few innings.  Call me a communist if you must.

I love the avatar, Nails!

I don't mind it. Bad as it may be, it's part of the game. It does get annoying when the "runners on base" music is looping over and over ...

I don't mind it one bit.  I almost never play without the volume.  Like JoeD said, it makes it easier since you can hear the pitch instead of just seeing it.

I just wiped my ass then smelled the toilet paper.  What's wrong with me?

I've been playing with the sound off for so long, i had forgotten that the sound of the fastball is different.  Excellent point, guys, and good to know.  I think i'll try playing with the sound on again.

...and thanks, NoahG.  Long live, RBI!

I almost never listen to games while I play them.  Instead, I use that time to listen to some music or TV if there's something good on.  I think the only NES game I listen to is Bubble Bobble, because I start laughing uncontrollably when certain things happen.  When I lived in St. Louis, I would play my All Star Baseball season on Gamecube while I had the Cardinals game on a little tv and the broadcast on the radio.  I'm an incredible multitasker.

Those are incredibly difficult tasks that take immense amounts of concentration.  You are truly a man among men.

If I had any High Life around, I'd be cracking one open right now.
