Catching base stealers

Coleman, Raines, Lopes, and Ozzie are the only ones i've seen the computer try to steal with, so i've always assumed it was 144 and up.

How often they steal is a question for Nightwulf.

I'm guessing when is randomized, I've certainly seen the 142s try to steal and I'm pretty sure the 140s

See A LOT of watch games lately, the only player that I've seen attempt to steal a base is Tim Raines. (None of the other guys such as Coleman, Smith, etc. have been getting significant ABs). And it only seems like they will attempt a steal after reaching first to lead off the inning.

If you were JoeDirt, I'd assume that you just caught Jack Clark stealing, and cheated and said it was Vince Coleman...

I did actually kind of cheat, note that picture 2 is actually from a different time I caught Vince, but it was the only picture I got, so I did it again and got the first and third picture, but decided using them all made it look better.  But kind of tough for me to prove that it is Vince.

You could have staged it on a normal play that wasn't even a stolen base attempt.  However, since you're not Joe Dirte and there isn't a pitcher home run involved, we believe you.

Why would there be any doubt that it's Vince Coleman?  All players in the game can be thrown out stealing second.   I've thrown out Coleman many times, using both Down+A and Up+A.

The computer only steals with guys 140 or above I think.  But there's no real rhyme or reason to it.  They randomly run.  They might go one pitch and then not the next.  I don't get it.  The fucked up part is that the batter is late on the pitch 90% of the time and fouls it off.

Can't believe I missed this point earlier because it's right on.  The speed demons are the only guys that steal but for some reason they only steal when they've led off an inning with a single.  Just further proof that the computer is a retard.

I don't believe this, i'll try and test when I get a chance, you are saying if Coleman gets a one out single with no one on, he won't try and steal?
