AL 18 Cal 14
Missed a lot of this game tyring to figure out what hand the ball was being caught with, but AL led throughout and Cal is now tied with Boston in the loss column.

Bos 19  SF 14
Bos fought back after giving up 6 in the first and falling behind 8-1 in the 2nd, finally taking the lead by scoring 7 in the 7th thanks to a Jim Rice 3 run shot.

Stl 14 Det 13
For the 2nd game in a row Det played sloppy, lots of BOPS, lots of men LOB, and Stl took advantage as Worrel stranded the tying and go-ahead runs in the 9th.

Hou 17  Minn 11
Hou scored 10 in the first, Gary Gaetti twice homered in the first 3 innings with Minn down 10 to prevent a slaughter, but Minn never caught up as Nolan pitched a complete game.

NL 12  NY 11
NL clinched a postseason spot despite 3 HRs from Strawberry and 2 from Carter, Carter hit a HR with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th to cut the lead to 1, Straw singled but Bedrosian got Backman to ground out to end the game.

Post season scenarios with 1 game left.  NL plays Cali and Bos plays AL.  If Bos wins and Cal loses, Boston gets the third spot.  If Cal wins, it gets the 2nd spot on tie breaker and Boston is eliminated on tiebreaker having gone 1-3 against both NL and Cal.
If there is any interest in seeing the games with post season implications or seeing any post season games, I will be happy to post the movies like USC does for Fantasy.

No way Cali loses that spot, unless of course they put Donnie Moore in at the end of the game...

ultimate7

Moore got the last out.

Cal 22 NL 18
In a back and forth game, Cal jumped out to a 13-5 lead in the 4th, but NL roared back with 4 in the 5th and 6 in the 6th to tie it at 15 and went on to take a 17-15 lead, but Cal got 5 in the 7th to regain the lead for good and clinch a playoff spot.  Meat and Potatoes twice went back to back for Cal.  The Big Cat hit 2 HRs for NL.

I'll have the other 4 games later, none matter in the standings

Just like always...with SF I score a lot of runs, and give up a lot of runs.

The last of the regular season games:

AL 11 Bos 1 (3 inn)
Bos had their heart ripped out when Cal won to eliminate them and they sure showed it on the field, as AL routed them.

Det 13 SF 8
The Giant-Tiger games have been some of the best of the season, but not this one.  Detroit scored 7 in the 1st after Krukow had retired Trammell and Gibson to start the inning and they never looked back as SF never got closer than 4.

Stl 7 Minn 6
Terry Pendelton broke a 6-6 tie with a solo shot in the top of the 9th.

NY 15 Hou 4 (4 inn)
Gary Carter hit 2 HRs as the Met's crushed Houston.
