What kind of lighter? Zippo or Bic?
Zippo--I can see--no way a Bic.

the dude either has some high float or a mess between the cheeks.

Nothing should be changed...the game is perfect...and why mess with perfection?

Baines

Those are all pretty good ideas but I'd most like to see some stat tracking.

The only one I wouldn't add is diving/jumping.  It would take away the kick ass diving graphics they already have.  We call them web gems and award 1 drink.

Baines may have hit a homer with Baines, yelled Baines and immediately changed into a Baines jersey.

You know who's the best? Baines...

Wow that guest JRG character is such a piece of crap that I will not even respond to him in spite of his moronic personal attack.  I will however address his softball reference by saying that after RBI and Little League World Series the 3rd best baseball game for NES was Dusty Diamond's All-Star Softball.  I know it is not baseball but it counts.  It is worth playing.

Can anyone tell me how I'd go about creating my own RBI rom.  Like how would Chet do suck a thing with the 2003 teams.  Someone tell me!! Thanks alot

I think that if I were to change anything it would be to add a season mode in which the stats were tracked and to add more teams.  I am a lifelong A's fan and it would be cool to see the 86 or 87 roster of the A's on RBI.  Right now I just have Canseco and Mcgwire on the allstars and a few others that happened to be on other RBI teams (Like Reggie and Dave Henderson).

If you could merge the front-end completeness of Tecmo Super Bowl with the perfection of RBI game then you would have an even more ultimate product.

I always wish there were an RBI version of Super Tecmo Bowl.  The best of both worlds.

Actually, Tecmo attempted to make baseball games at one point.  I never played their NES offering (not even sure there was one), but I got Tecmo Super Baseball with my SNES when I bought it secondhand, and it's without a doubt the worst baseball game I've ever played.  The fielding is weird and without challenge, and the hitting seems random.  The graphics are rotten, the sound is annoying... ugh, just a rotten game.  I guess it has a front-end based on their earlier football and basketball games, which is a good thing, and it looked like there was a decent-looking season mode, but I never had the patience for more than about three games.
