I must ask, why is this on the DB thread?  If you think it should be added, simply go to the Jose Oquendo page, anyone can click "Edit" and add content.  If you get confused with the editing process, ask a question and we'll answer it...

This isn't a dig at Teddy, but the whole point of the DB is that ANYONE can edit and if people chipped in it would be quite the resource in no time...

A little late, but that was my entire point.  ANYONE can edit the db - if you post on a thread waiting for me to update shit does not get done.  Fighton has the right system going on right now - he's posting player updates on the forums and adding the info to their RBIdb thread.  Shit, even Denny fkn Walling has a nice page now thanks to usc...

This post has no point other than to continue to drum up support for the database.  But hey, there isn't a single Wikipedia link in here...

This thread is a good spot to leave some links to work you have done.  Especially since most of the non-database-updaters will not look at the recent changes page.

PS - You gonna add those uploaded images to the saberhagen and herr pages?  Don't forget to use the "thumb" part of the image tage to add a caption.  Look at other pages (such as your userpage) if you don't know how...

Nice work BDawk!  You reversed the linking on the Bio page.  You want to link the sections like [[Home Runs]], not the actual number he had.  That lets you click on the "Home Runs" link to get to the page that discusses how Home Runs affect RBI.  Did some cleanup, check out the history page here and compare my version and yours.  You can see what I took out and what I added...

Again, nice work.  That basic info is what the player pages need most...

Yeah, disregard the Saberhagen one since it's the exact same pic.  What I like to do if I don't know how someone did a page is simply to edit it and copy/past with my own info. 

So goto a page with the image caption the way you like it in the upperhand corner (such as fighton's Denny Walling page) and copy/paste his line into the Herr page.  Then edit that pasted line relevant for Herr.  Try it out and post again if you get stuck...

Nice fkn work!  That page will do quite nicely...  I made a few moderations, most of them cosmetic.  Like to start off all the pages with RBI Stats, then Bio.  Also added a nickname, made a few more wikilinks of the years, etc.  But all-in-all a fine piece of work, you are improving...
