If you have Armas at 8, he has no protection. I like this one:

1. Raines
2. Murphy
3. Guerro
4. Dawson
5. EDavis
6. Schmidt
7. McGuire
8. Brookens
9. Cox (Because my brother hit a homerun with him, weither or not you beleive me.
Fernando Valenzuela can play every position, including the umpire, and does every night of the week, and nothing can stop him.

favorites?  or the best?

my favorites:

1) Hatcher
2) Gibson
3) Herr
4) Rice
5) McGee
6) Doran/DwEvns
7) Gedman
8) SPIKE OWEN, far and away!  GO SPIKE!

I don't count all stars in this.  In reality, my team should be all Houston and Boston, because they are the only teams I ever use.

Cool question!

Best/worst

1.  Raines/Rndlph
2.  Gibson/Smith
3.  DaEvns/Walling
4.  Jackson/Nokes
5.  Baylor/Herndn
6.  Schmidt/Backmn
7.  CDavis/Gllrga
8.  Brookn/Sntana
B.  McGwire/Davidson

I went with their natural positions in the line-up (ie... I grouped all Bench players together).
The only one of my "worst" players I keep in the line-up is Nokes (the 4 spot is stacked in this game!)

Looks like Gibson is the only Unanimous pick, except for the Owens fan.

I wasn't counting All Stars...but I would have to add Raines and Davis if I was.
