Just a little heads up that our yearly 2005 RBI Baseball Drinking Game tournament gets underway this Saturday at about 5pm.   To see the rules (though there have been some adjustments to the tiebreaker since then), see here:

http://dee-nee.com/rbi/tourneys/

The finalists:

Gantry
Potsie
Sperling
Jason/Vitb6

Lips will be posting updates throughout the tourney, including a buttload of video footage.  Be sure and stop by to see how things are going, we should be on dee-nee pretty much all Saturday afternoon/evening.

Lots of drinking, lots of RBI, lots of drama.  The event of the year for us, Dee-Nee!

If there is only four of you, why not make it like an every or everyother weekend thing?
Fernando Valenzuela can play every position, including the umpire, and does every night of the week, and nothing can stop him.

Gantry

Our livers couldn't take it and most of these guys have "real lives" on the weekends...

fknmclane

Because then it wouldn't be as much fun...and they're getting old.  ;)

I just wiped my ass then smelled the toilet paper.  What's wrong with me?

the dude either has some high float or a mess between the cheeks.

Hah, weaklings! Oh, btw, go to the chat since you guys are on.

Yeah, it's tough enough getting the dee-nee crew together even once a month anymore.  fknold bastards and their real lives....

Vitb6

Why havn't we gotten the footage of the qualifier on the site yet?  We should have gotten the qualifier footage on two weeks ago and then put the finals footage on.  I want to see ALL the post game interviews!

Stock

Welcome back Vit.  Whervyoubeen?

I said it once and I'll say it again - stock is smart

Gantry

We still have footage from 2001 that has yet to be put on the site.  Blame Lipitz...

If Sperling isn't the sentimental favorite now, I don't know who could be...

there are also folks complaining about the lack of Bobby Grich, Dwight Evans, and Willie Randolph.

I hope you guys have been studying, I heard last year's final was a bitch.
"Thank you Mr. Toilet Bowl..thank you for being cool on the side...you're the only one that understands me."

This is no joke, I'm cramming for the tourney tonight by drinking 12 beers.  I haven't been drinking all that much lately and I need to get the body ready for the rigors of the tourney.   It seems silly but the ability to stay focused and play well after 8-10 beers is key...

The things I do for my sport....

I think I would rest up and stay off the booze the night before the tourney. But I can see your point, as well.

Drink plenty of Pedialyte tomorrow night - a glass for every two beers or so. Believe me, you'll thank me for it later.

On beer #2...  The tourney doesn't start until 4:30 so the hangover shouldn't be much of a factor.  I always tend to have a little more tolerance after a night of heavy drinking.  Probably bullshit, but even if it's mental it gives me an edge...

Or I'm a complete fucking idiot...

This makes me wonder if my son is an alcoholic. . . . . he can throw down some pedilyte.

What if someone under 21 and didn't drink wanted to partake in this joyous event.... would they not be allowed?
