if the 500th member is a douchebag I will delete my account so he then becomes the 499th member, and well most will think that I will then re-sign up to become the actual 500th member, I will actual take my own life knowing that I was a martyr to the DeeNee community, the 4 remaining active RBI'ers will sing "Dust in the Wind" at my funeral.
What do you got there, the 4 volt? I did you a favor.

Perhaps the funniest post on a day full of funny posts.

I'm going to take your NES controller and jam it so far up your ass that you'll need to learn how to work the 'A' button with your small intestine.

Son, we're all going to die before Julio Franco. When the apocolypse comes, the only things left alive will be Julio Franco and Theo's friend Cockroach...

there are also folks complaining about the lack of Bobby Grich, Dwight Evans, and Willie Randolph.

Tonight, I prepared my girlfriend to become the 500th member, I told her that at any given moment, she will recieve a phone call with strict instructions.

Then I told her that NSFW meant that there were pictures of kittens in the thread.

I'm fairly confident Mr. RBI will somehow make it, then issue challenges to both cockroach and Julio every second to play him in RBI, there heads will actually explode after 5 minutes of this thus leaving Mr. RBI alone in the world with a nintendo, a RBI cartridge, and no one to play.

This adaptaion of the end of the world was heavily influenced by a Twilight Zone I once saw were a guy (Henry Beamis?) survived a nuclear holocaust in a bank vault, was the only survivor, went to a library cuz all he wanted to do in life was read, he then dropped his glasses and stepped on them by mistake, and coulnd't see shit.

Didn't they steal that from the Simpsons (possibly Family Guy)?

BeeJay

There was a Family Guy(I think) episode where the Peter's last remaining brain cell fell and broke it's glasses.  I always wondered what the cultural reference was, and now I know.  Also, if you're the last guy on earth, couldn't you just wander around until you find new glasses?  It doesn't seem that hard.
"Thank you Mr. Toilet Bowl..thank you for being cool on the side...you're the only one that understands me."

Gantry

That was a great TZ episode, the character discussed was played by the late Burgess Merideth (aka the Pengiun and Mickey from Rocky) - shit he looked old then and it was 1960...

malnuboy

he was very blind without them, so I imagine his chances of finding new glasses were not very good.

I also have seen that Family Guy and was pumped when I knew the refrence to point of telling everybody there about it, as usual nobody cared.

Just tell them that you were recently unofficially voted most popular on an RBI Baseball-based internet message board.  People will start listening to you.  And fast.
