Get Roms transfrred onto NES carts

No, it's just the defacto online ROM and it takes the same amount of effort to include it.  Same team would be the draw.  Shit, I'd be down for replacing the all-star teams with Toronto and somebody else from 86/87.  It all depends on what people are most interested in, I'd buy just about anything.  Online and arcade just don't measure up to the NES for me...

that did not occur to me, to have maybe the 87 bluejays...damn good idea!  yah know id be down for giving HOU and STL some more pop by editing a few players.  not a lot cause thier pitching is pretty stellar but if they just had a couple of dangerous guys on there....Gdavis, and maybe even get jack clark all steroided up!

I'd be up for fixing up the 2k5 ROM a bit, and I think it'd be sweet to have a hard copy.  My biggest issue with this - I don't like the idea of having partial-season stats in an actual cartridge, and this seems far enough into 2005 that last year's stats don't seem like they'd match players' abilities very well, if I based them on this years' performance.  If I did this, I'd feel better about it if I waited until the end of the season to put it together.

Also, what teams would people want?  Would I go with this year's playoff teams plus the next-best team in each league, playoff teams plus all-star teams from the non-playoff teams, or the most popular teams (to get the Cubs and Yankees involved)?

Agreed, Beef.  Half way through stats don't really cut it.  Instead of waiting for the 2nd half of the season, why don't we start out with the arcade ROM and order another round (for those who wish to) as soon as this season is complete?

As cool as this sounds and as many different versions Id buy if i had the money, I feel that you are all playing RBI god again.  I feel that sacrificing the lives of other games and cloning and messing witht he original make up of the game is just wrong.

i went and voted with the nes w/ same teams, but i'll buy any of the 3 (if we all need to buy the same game for the discount)....so mark me down for 1 game regaurdless which one at the moment.

maybe I'm stoopid, but what does "RBI NES with same teams" actually mean - it sounds just like the regular game I already have

RBI w/ same teams = both Player 1 and 2 can play with the same team for a game.  For example, you and I could play a 2 player game, and both of us could use Detroit.  It's handy because it eliminates arguments like "You only won because you got to use Detroit..."

maybe if someone wants to create a looney rom on the side...eliminate the all star teams and make 2 teams with dee-nee players...maybe have joe dirt on 1 team as a pitcher, and Bonny on the other team as a pitcher.  make Rdub and MikeD as a powerful combo.....Malnu as an insane "speed"ster  .

the posibilites are endless.  Have Mclane a powerful bat off the bench, so he can wait in the dugout for a few innings and sober up.  maybe someone with too much time on thier hands can create a couple of dee-nee lineups or something.

anyways make a rom, and i'd send the guy 30 some bucks seperately to buy the damn thing.
