Has this happened to any of you???  I've been playing RBI for 15 years and this is the first time this ever occurred.   I was playing with Houston vs. the computer, who was Minnesota.    I was trying to pitch a perfect game w/Nolan Ryan and I was perfect through five.   In the top of the sixth I was up 8-0 with 2 outs, Terry Puhl on third and Nolan Ryan at the plate.
I did a hit and run on the first pitch, which Nolan tapped low in the air.   It landed lazily on the third base chalk and slowly rolled right on the line as Puhl stepped on home plate and the 9-0 score flashed.   Then, and I could see this coming by the way the ball was moving, the ball just barely broke foul!!

It flashed back and there was Nolan at the plate with an 0-1 count, Puhl back on third, but the score was 9-0!  The damn run counted!!   ;D

So I had to be careful and bunt out on purpose to keep it 9-0.

I ended up throwing a three hitter   >:(  but that was freaking crazy!!!

Yes, this glitch has been mentioned here before.  If you score before the ball goes foul, then run will count.  Pretty unusual, though

Sorry about that guys    :-[

I feel kind of stupid for thinking I was the first one.... but it was just really wierd since it was the first time it ever happened.

It's kinda like in middle school when you get your first cop of the bare breasts of a girl on the couch of her parents basement and you go around the next day going "WOAH!  You won't believe this!" to all your friends, and they're like, "we've been there done that, ya jackass."

Are you Jeff Francoeur? What have you got against taking pitches?

He got his first ML walk last night (in 132 PAs).  Intentional Walk.  :)

I was really expecting him to get a standing ovation.

Only 2,301 until he reaches Barry Bonds' illustrious mark of 2,302.
