Did anyone see this on College Gameday?

Gameday was in Pittsburgh for the Pitt and Va.Tech game and one of the signs somebody was holding up in the crowd said:

"Did You Know?...
Wade Boggs drank 64 beers on a cross country flight"


I must say that's a new one and the fact that it was at Gameday is random as hell but it's always nice to see any reference to an RBI player.

Andre the Giant has been confirmed at 124 beers in one fucking sitting.  That might be the most amazing thing I have ever heard...

Boggs did get into trouble with a flight, I wonder if that was the same trip.  I can't believe WAB drank 64 beers in one flight...

If I'm not mistaken Wade is in the RBI HOS because of said cross country flight.  It's gotta be the same flight.

124 is actually confirmed?  What's the source?  I wonder if Andre ate or drank anything else in huge amounts.

Well, I guess the 124 is confirmed by mini-bios on the 'net, so it really ain't confirmed.  Could be like the Kevin Mitchell cupcake injury - many people say it on the net, but nobody explains it...

Brian Anderson (former D-Back, presently a Royal) had a couple while playing for the DBacks.  Once, he strained his arm sleeping on it in a cab and had to miss a start.  Another time he burned his face on an iron.  Believe it or not, he was checking if it was hot.
