Yeah too bad for Jose, but we can look forward to his book when it comes out, he promises to name every ballplayer involved with steroids, so I'm sure someone will off him soon after it his book starts selling, I will definately buy it.

I leave pena in, but he never get any production out of him.   Hes nothing special for me.  I do agree with morris though, he is worthy of getting the chance to hit for my pitcher in the later innings.

too bad for canseco, he had a long career, its a shame it had to end in AAA.  I heard he needed only 38 more homeruns for the 500 club. :(

Canseco was my favorite player for a good five years.  I collected all of his cards, including the vaunted 1986 Donruss...

FYI Gwynn - When you have a solid piece of info regarding RBI like Canseco's retirement, be sure and put it on a new thread, instead of throwing it out on a random thread.  I know all the threads typically diverge from the original topic, but we should minimize it when possible.  Though I guess Canseco is an RBI Legend...

I still have my Jose Canseco baseball glove.  Interesting that I'd decide to get his glove, since he wasn't really known for his fielding.  Didn't someone once hit a home run that bounced of Canseco's head and went over the fence?

that play alone will probably keep him out of the hall of fame...  quite embarassing... but not as bad as when he blew out his arm pitching at the end of a blowout.
