---Week 12
Oak 13 SL 7
The A's led from start to finish as Vida pitched a complete game
HRs:   McGwire, O. Smith, Hornsby(2), Campaneris

Hou 13 Atl 12
After taking an 8-0 lead in the 2nd it looked like the Braves were gonna run away with this one, but the Astros got 6 in the 4th on some shoddy defense to get back into the game and took a 12-10 lead in the 8th on a 2 run shot from G Davis, Mathews hit a 2 out 2 run shot in the top of the 9th to tie, but the Stros got doubles in the bottom half from Doran and Cedeno to hand Braves their 4th straight one run loss.
HRs:   Torre(2), Murphy, Horner, Cruz, G. Davis, Mathews

Bos 18 Chc 16
Boston was up 4-2 going to the 7th and got 9 in the 7th and started the offensive explosions, but 18-16 was the closest the Cubs got when Dawson hit a 9th inning grand slam
HRs:   Lynn, Durham, Foxx, Wilson, Kingman, Dawson(2)

LA 12 Cin 11
The Dodgers got 2 in the bottom of the 9th to pull out the win with 3 straight hits from Wills, Valenzuela, and Willie Davis
HRs:   Foster(3), Reese, Snider, Bench, Perez(2), Rose, Guerrero, Garvey

NYY 19 SF 8 (7 inn)
The Yankees pounded out a season recond 9 HRs and Whitey Ford, visibly tired in the 3rd (after giving up 4 in the 1st) somehow made it throw 7 innings allowing only 8 runs as the Giants could not take advantage of him.
HRs:   Gehrig(2), Ruth(2), DiMaggio, Berra(2), Ott, Mantle

I know what you meant, and yes I simmed that Atl/HOu 46 times until Hou won, also I kept watching a game that was 8-0 Atlanta because I knew Hou would come back and win.  If ATL missed the post season I will be more shocked then you, of course I'll wouldn't mind.  But trust me if there really was any fix the Yankess and Dodgers would not be ahead of the Braves and the Cubs wouldn't be 5-7.
