thanks sir....it is an honor...

that is except for the time just two days ago when, once again in real pitching game play, todd worrell of the angels let up 6, count them, 6 consecutive homeruns to the detroit tigers...starting with Kirk Gibsons 3 run shot and ending with tom brookens, my personal hero and style mentor

WTF

First of all Worrell is on the Cardinals, 2nd of all he either hit 7 straight HRs, or started with Evans and ended with Brookens for it to be 6.

I don't remember, is there a video out there of a pitcher HR?

No video, but plenty of word of mouth proof IMO.

The closest I know of is that during one of the first Fantasy RBI seasons, Jimmy Key hit one off the bottom of the wall that appeared to be just a few pixels from being a wallzie.  That, along with the testimonials of others here, has led me to believe that it's possible.

IIRC baines swears that in arcade version there was one hit over the wall....but he does drink a lot.   ;D

i'll say that someone like baines id trust on that.  so either it did happen or they lost track of who was at bat and it was the #8 or #1 hitter.

on a few occasions id temporarily get lost in the order vs the computer and get all excited when the #8 guys would get a hold of one, only to realize that im a wishful dolt.

Nope, it was a wallzie.  Here's the thread.

The drunk over the fence Pitcher HR was claimed by Doverbi, then ridiculed by his friends then next day because he was too drunk to know what was going on.

Pure myth. I have one hopped the fence, but that was the closest I got. I have seen my apprentice one hop the fence also, but I firmly believe that it is next to impossible.

Well hello there again everyone, sorry I haven't been here (as if you cared....just kidding)!

I've hit homers for every regular hitter before, I've never been really close with a pitcher though, and there are 40 of them in the game!

I think some of the pitchers with actual lifetime homers (Gooden, 8) might be able to hit a homerun more, but I doubt it.

All pitchers have the same hitting abilities - 640 power, 64 contact, 120 speed.  Santana has 708 power, to put that in perspective.

Mine was with Nolan Ryan off Fernando Valenzuela, my friend was in shock; so was I. Of the others, I hit well with Clemens, Gooden, Valenzuela, Sutcliffe, Krukow, Don Robinson.

I'm calling bullshit.
Everyone knows Alexander is the only pitcher than can go yard.

I said it once and I'll say it again - stock is smart

No, Don  Robinson is absolutely the best hitting pitcher in the game

Rdub once got very close to hitting a HR with a pitcher, but he got held up at third base.

I already gave out my POW today (to rdub, no less), but this post was indeed savage.
