GDavis Snaps Losing Streak Against CommieHitlers, 11-1

DEE-NEE CITY - Tony Armas homered and drove in five, and Jimmy Key allowed only two hits, as GDavis picked up their first win of the season, an 11-1, four-inning mercy rule victory over The CommieHitlers in a Fantasy RBI game played Friday night at Tengen Stadium.

Key, seeing his first action of the season, was bumped up in the rotation before the game for GDavis (1-2), and he did not fail to deliver. The only run he gave up was unearned, on a failed attempt to double Fernando Valenzuela up at third base on a line drive.

Valenzuela was rocked by GDavis' hitting, giving up 14 hits and 10 earned runs. His triple was one of only two extra base hits - and hits in the game - for The CommieHitlers (1-2).

Lunch tomorrow, so hopefully by about this time tomorrow. 

There are 4 games done in the best of 7 series for the other fantasy, so starting next week I should be able to keep up game for game with you.

The Empire is anxiously waiting for a statement to be issued by the RBI Fantasy Founder and Commissioner regarding this serious matter. We are willing to pay with lucrative assets or Cash/Kronor/Euro.

In the event that a deal is finalized, we would like to announce a name change to The Dark Side and a uniform change to pure black. A line up shake up would also take place immediately.

Naturally The Empire is full aware of Ryno's possible return before week 4. We are also aware that Ryno may not return until an undetermined time. Due to the nature of this traumatic event, we strongly feel that some kind of legislation be posted soon to clear up this matter.

MEXICAN HERMAPHRODITE WHORES PLACED IN LEAGUE CONTROL PENDING FINAL RULING

HOLLYWOOD, CA - The Dee-Nee Fantasy RBI League has announced that Mexican Hermaphrodite Whores will be run by the league offices through Week 4 after the disappearance of team owner Ryno. If Ryno has not returned to Dee-Nee by the start of Week 5, the league will relocate the team to a new owner and location.

"This league has seen absentee owners before, and it's not a situation that is in the best interest of the game," said Fantasy RBI League Commissioner Richard Manfreddy in a statement released from his palatial estate overlooking the Hollywood Hills. "We are giving Ryno one week of Fantasy RBI play to return to Dee-Nee and to his team. After that time, we will consider all reasonable offers to relocate the team to the best possible situation."

Several potential suitors have already contacted the league offices to express interest in the troubled franchise. Among these is a mysterious Swedish playboy and former minor-league baseball player. However, league front office sources have anonymously indicated that Manfreddy is concerned about the travel time associated with hodling games in Sweden, and also that the suitor has a history of "bailing out on promises to do things" that he has made in the past.
