SBNation has a new video series called "Card Show" in which Jon Bois (one of my favorite internet people) and Ryan Nanni open a pack of old sports cards in their attempt to find the worst possible card.  Jon chose 1989 Bowman, a legitimately horrible set, as his pack, so there are RBIer sightings: Tony Gwynn, Tim Teufel, and Mike Scott all make appearances.

Ryan's pack was 1990 Pro Set, which he said he chose because it looked like some el-cheapo thing you'd find in a sticker vending machine, but Pro Set were probably the best football card set of their day, so his were generally quite a bit less terrible (although still interesting).

I sorted an entire case of Pro-Set football cards as a youth group fundraiser probably in 1988 (?). Great looking cards. Colossal waste of time.
