So I used Tapatalk on the tablet I'm setting up and there WAS a fkn Amazon ad.   Guess I never saw because I have Adblock on my phone, my bad.  Found out that you have to turn that shit off in your dashboard, it's gone now.  Been making like $1-2 a month and not even knowing it!  Put my PayPal in there and if they pay me anything it's going to charity:water. 

Who the fuck was clicking on the amazon ad? 

Also - I think I disabled it bugging you to install Tapatalk if you go to the forums from a mobile browser.

Also upgraded SMF to 2.0.9 - looks like there's a 2.1 beta out now.  That may be the time to consider moving this to a new VM with CentOS7.  STAY TUNED

Turns out you had to make $5 in a month to get paid, which I didn't get.  So don't worry, I didn't sell out and no $$$ will be coming to me. 

2.1 beta seems to have some more mobile settings upgrades and a redone alert system.  Maybe I ditch Tapatalk when that happens, feel a bit sketched out about opting you into ads by default.  Who the fuck knows what they are doing. 

Middle of next year seems like a fair upgrade time - we'll be at a million posts, 2.1 should be coming out of beta, time for a new SSL cert with SHA-2, new OS with upgraded PHP and PFS for SSL, etc etc.
