There have been 3,233 members (though a significant number of them were spammers that registered in 2011) on Dee-Nee based on the user number of the latest member. The actual 1,000th member would be either the mighty chewbarod, or a deleted account (#1001) if you exclude Forum Admin, or the mighty Steveo (no relation to Stevo) if you exclude Forum Admin and Gantry.

Because of around 650 deleted threads, the 30,000th thread was actually Tenille started by Tempo on 6/17/15. However, there doesn't appear to be a thread #1 anymore, so the earliest thread on the forums is #2 wherein Gantry posted about increasing the Dee-Nee bandwidth on 7/23/02.

As far as 1,000,000 posts, it looks like Dee-Nee is close to 1,010,900 posts including deleted ones. I'm looking for the 1,000,000th post (each post is numbered independently of the thread it's in) so I'll come back once I've found it.

New goal is July 1st, if all goes well all the following will be true:

* We'll have a million posts - NOPE
* SMF 2.1 that's currently in beta will be released NOPE
* The desktop Broadwell CPUs will be out KIND OF - released but they are shit so everyone including me is waiting until Skylake.

If all this is the case we'll have a new server, forum software and operating system all to coincide with the million posts.  It'll be glorious!
