Rapid thoughts for the rest of the games.

GD@TP.

GDavis & Friends don't seem to match up really well with the Tulsa Pinkmen, especially with Cox. GD had trouble with AOS's Bylvn and Krukow, and Cox is a similar style pitcher but better. If the Ryan Express can limit the Pinkmen, then GDavis chances improve when Key comes in to relieve. From what we've seen, the Pinkmen have about a 65 percent chance to win and GDavis & Friends have a 35 percent chance to win.

The pundits are expecting an average scoring game. My prediction is that the TP win by 2-3 runs - 16 to 14 or 15-12, something like that. The Pinkmen have a better chance for a mercy rule win than GDavis & Friends does.

SC@CS.

The Canadian Shooties have a 90 percent chance to win. The Seymour Chili's will really need their #1 and #2 to have solid outings and keep the scoring low to have any kind of chance. Their bullpen will need a lead and they'll have to have good outings. If the Chili's have any kind of lead in the 8th or 9th, then their small chances increase if their offense can at least get to Shootie's bullpen. They won't outhit the Shooties and they'll need errors to aid them and basically for all the breaks to go their way, like on the basepaths (stat X's).

We may see a moderate to low scoring game. A mercy rule win for the Shooties is unlikely. In a nutshell, if the Chili's win, then it'll be an anomaly. Expect a tight game most of the way - the Chili's are a pesky bunch on a strict strawberry and blueberry diet, so they are going on primal instincts!

As for The Empire vs AOS. It's going to be a good game. AOS has an explosive offense capable of big innings. We'll need to avoid that and we need for Morris to limit the AOS if we are to win. AOS's offense worries me and we'll need a faster start. Again, expect a tight game. If we win, it'll be low scoring. If they win, they can win big. All I know is Morris better come out and hit his damn spots. If the game gets to the bullpen, then I like our chances better.

Right now it's hard to say who has "The Look", but I thought from the beginning that Shooty is the preseason favorite and he won the preseason tournament. He has a solid club, but we'll see how his team responds when the heat turns up. AOS and the Tulsa Pinkmen look like good candidates for the playoffs. I have to say that the 4th spot is up for grabs right now. We'll find out a little more after the Empire-AOS game. It's still way to early to tell and anything can happen on any given Fantasy game, but the Shooties appear to be a lock for the playoffs.

Will make the updates for next week's games - lineups are locked for this week (mentioned it during last week's games that once the ROM is set for the week, that's it from now on.)

there are also folks complaining about the lack of Bobby Grich, Dwight Evans, and Willie Randolph.

The Pinkmen clearly took issue with fighton's statement in the podcast that we may be watching a championship matchup this week in the Empire-AOS game. If there's any early-season discussion of championship material, the Pinkos deserve to be in that conversation.

That was a statement game! You guys look good and you have a really solid pitching staff. Cox is elite and when Ojeda is on, he can deal.

So Burks was 3-6, with a HR, one 2B, and one 3B. Not bad. Leo can match that any time sucka.

DCincs, 2-5 with one HR and a double. Nothing Garner can't do and wait until DCincs burns you on the basepaths and kills a rally, not to mention his choking abilities. We'll see you soon Tulsa Pinkyboys! The Empire usually handles business with your Fantasy teams  ;)  But yeah, you guys look real good and your team appears to be a lock for the playoffs - both you and the Canucks. So if we dismiss Seymour (can't see them making the playoffs), the last two playoff spots will be interesting to see who grabs those two.

McLane, prepare for battle. The Empire takes many forms, from Rome to the Galactic Empire. Today, we seek a special kind of domination ... or a gutsy win. The Empire is a Fantasy RBI juggernaut and a prestigious brand in Fantasy RBI. We don't appreciate the stench your players are spreading at the hotel Imperial Center Hotel. Your destiny for week 3 awaits.

As you can see here, Vader is making his way to the Imperial Center Stadium.

Au contraire! The storm troopers have come to the brown side and they're escorting him to his execution by swimming in raw sewage.

I want the Wally Backman experiment to end.

But have no clue which of those guys plays second base.

I guess I'll pick up Sandberg.  Ugh.

I updated the list so it has positions. Do you still want Sandberg?

Also, Nomaaa has a waiver claim on Sutton, but I need to know who he is dropping.

Take Dickie Thon (although he only played SS that year and should not be listed as a 2B)
