I know a couple people had volunteered, but is anyone willing to handle the weekly stats? I have an Excel spreadsheet that automates a lot of it - basically, you'll just need the game box scores that I post after every game.

My 10 week vacation just started within minutes ago. I leave for Las Vegas/NorCal on Tuesday and will be there for 7 weeks. I would have helped otherwise and I want to, but I can't commit since I'll be up to a lot of stuff. Beef is a good numbers guy, he should volunteer like a good Christian should!

You're a good guy, Beef! If I'm not mistaken here, I believe Fighton has hit the proverbial wall. So doing the stats will be a big relief for him. Hours go into a slate of games and updating the stats. I know how it is.

Thanks so much, Beef! I've managed to pretty much automate the process - I put the game stats into a worksheet, and it auto populates season stats for each player. What winds up needing to be manual - and is a big pain - is for players who were on multiple teams in the same season. I've done this week's stats - I'll send you the spreadsheet this week and walk you through it via PM.

I haven't updated it for the new teams since they don't have any stats for those teams yet, if that's what you mean.

And when you open the stats sheet, you can unhide columns to see the stats other than HR and AVG

FYI, after this week's games, we'll have a special exhibition all-star game between the best players from this season vs. the "best" players not on rosters. And there will be no mercy rule.

I haven't updated it for the new teams since they don't have any stats for those teams yet, if that's what you mean.

So if I look at Dale Murphy, he's listed as COM, when he has already played a game for the Shooties.

COM means combined - stats for all teams he's played for. And as I said above, that's the part that drives me nuts, which is why I'm asking Beefy to help me with it.
