The managers coming out of RBI leave much to be desired.  But who exactly is the worst?

the dude either has some high float or a mess between the cheeks.

Ray Suge Lopez has gotta be the worst.  Baines, haven't the Reds fired him about 6 times now?

Al Pedrique is the obvious choice, as he's going to set a new record for futility with the lowest winning percentage of any manager every with over 100 games (I think that's right) managed.

Shit, I forgot Bob Boone!

Shit, can't add Boone, only 8 slots available for a poll.  Did I forget anyone else?

Then take out Garner, because he has to get some credit for turning the Astros around.

I have to vote for Mazilli.

I know mclane isn't a big Brenley fan, but didn't the guy win a World Series as manager?

Man, what a sorry looking bunch we haev right there...

fknmclane

Boob did win a Series because he's the luckiest man alive.  Trust me, he's terrible.  You'd think the same if you had to watch him manage games for over a year.

I put him on there because he got fired.  I guess I could take him off to make room for Boone.

Garner stays.

What's wrong with scrap iron? He led some truly horrible Brewers teams to decent records. His teams always seem to play hard, which is rare in today's day and age. (I've blocked out any memories of him in Det)

Mike D.

I wish Terry Francoma was an  RBI'er so we could list that douchebag.

Is there anyone that likes the manager of the team they root for?  It seems like managers are always hated.  I think Dusty Baker does a lot of stupid stuff, but I still like the fact he's the Cubs manager, you can't question sucess.  Though many in the Cubs newsgroup want him gone.

What is Pedrique's current record?  Sounds like a hall of shame entry to me...

Who were the good RBI managers?  Don Baylor was ok I guess, though Cub fans would disagree with me...

Mike D.

I liked Jimy Williams, for the record.

Some would argue he's the reason for their mediocrity this year.  Poor fielding, poor decision making always points back to the toothpick chewing manager in the dugout.

He's also racist and he almost got his son killed at the world series a couple years ago.

My brother who went to school in NoCal and watched the Giants for 4 years says the same thing.  Says the Jeff Kent/Barry Bonds thing has the most proof of it.  I dunno.  Isn't he married to a white woman?

Don't you remember when Kent and Bonds got into a shoving match in the dugout?  I guess it went on behind closed doors all the time and Dusty ALWAYS took Bonds' side, even though he was usually the instigator.

There's other stuff as well, like the "white guys can't play in the sun but brother can" comment.  I thought that was hilarious and a good anthropological observation.

Dusty does and says stuff like that white guys in the sun comment, it was intended to put the spot light on himself, at that point there was something going on with the team that was getting some media attention, and Dusty sucessfully diverted it to his asinine comments.

This is the same guy who pinch hit for RBI legend Jim Rice with RBI all-time-suck Spike Owen...how can you possibly like him as a manger?

And for the same record, I like AND respect Joe Torre.
