Did anyone else watch "Master of Champions" on ABC last night? Best terrible show ever. The winner was a 14 year-old contorsionist that shot a balloon from 20 feet away with a bow and arrow, using her feet only and blindfolded. I bring this up because Steve Garvey was one of the three "champion judges", along with Johnny Mosley and Oksuna Baiul, who was orange, probably drunk, and dumb as an ox. Every time Garvey came on the screen, I had the haiku running through my head.

well dammit, that is a tough one to transcribe.  i've always had difficulty gauging how many syllables are in a word.  i have no clue how mclane counts the syllables in conversations (as per the weird things that we do thread)
