I disagree I'd be at an advantage.  I think I'd be at a big disadvantage.  You simply can't tire a pitcher out.  I am instinctively a patient RBI guy because I wait out pitchers.  That would work to my disadvantage.  Can't you poll the potential players and see what they want?  Do most people play 2 SP?  Doesn't it simply make sense that a starting pitcher can't come in in relief?

Well, lemme just say that I have experience going from 1 SP all my life and playing in a 2 SP tourney and I definitely had an advantage because of it. 

You are assuming that you cannot tire out a staff when you use 2 SP.  You're wrong there.  It's even more important to be patient at the plate with 2 SP.  Just play a few games with 2 SPs with your buddies and see what you think...

UPDATE: There has been some more movement on the progress of this tourney.  There are now currently only two $50 spots left and a lot of people who expressed interest in signing up for $50...I strongly suggest you sign up now!  Of course, for those who miss out on the $50 options, you can still catch a $75 or $100 option (and of course, win more)...

Most people dont play that much, nor do they play against serious competition.   So you'll do just fine...

well yeah, but i'm sure "serious competition" is relative. it's tough to say whether or not i'm any good (or whether anyone i know is.) but that's part of the intrigue of playing in the tournament.

I play maybe once a week at the most...and it isn't even the style the tournament is using.  So you'll probably be better than me.

I do plan on training like crazy in the months leading up to the tournament.  Doubt it will help.
