Hah I agree, I live 20 minutes away form Bosotn. But in reality, I think somewhere in central US would be good. Just keep it a happy medium. Or we could just take a poll on where people live and put it in the middle of everyone.

Well we have two beds that hold two people, one bed that holds one person and three couches.  That is non-floor arrangements for 6 people.  If I know in advance I'll score at least two bed/futon/air mattresses.  After that ,there is hella floor space.  Eight people will sleep well...

25 minutes isn't "bad" per say, but if I have to make that trip 4-6 times in the first day, it'll suck balls. Plus friday traffic on 294 South is the worst thing you can possibly experience...

I've never been to Boston and would LOVE to go, but I think that'll garner many more droupouts than a place like Chicago.  But if the sheer numbers point to Boston, we'll definitely have it at your house...

We can't all forget, this is about a YEAR away!! A week from now this thread will be on page 2, and it won't be brought up again until next march or so. Anyways, holy shit would I love to host/organize this shit.
I  know people, transporting to/from airport, I can arrange. OR pay a brother a small fee to do. naperville=40 minutes to downtown by car.

I think I'd like to have a venue and date agreed upon by August first, that way people have almost a full year to consider their plans.  I really think the success of JoeD's tourney was really helped by the early calendar.  It seems like people kept on joining as the weeks/months went by...

I'm inspired and would love Roogs help to organize if this all goes through...

Boston would be one of the worst places for this tourney, its a cold hearted place. When Lips was up to his antics at the bar Friday night all I could think of was back in Boston we would have gotten into about three fights by now, there are way to many tough guys. Most bars in Boston can be sperated into two categories; 1) Rich Yuppy College Kids and 2) North Shore "Bad Asses".

Also traffic and directions would seperate the crew numerous times and probaly get some lost for the entire night.

My votes were for Chicago and anywhere, If in Chicago I might fly which isn't a big deal cuz it would definitly be cheaper then renting a car.
