And Alice Cooper's Town Restaurant may still be open across the street from the Jake.  A great stadium by the way.

Coopers Town is still open across from the Jake.  We went there before Lips' wedding.  That is where I destroyed Gantry and Stehling in 3 rounds of trivia.  Dee-Nee!

I was a big fan of that place.  Great T-Shirt selection as well.

really, St Louis could work.  Centralized with somewhat of a nightlife.

The Redbirds, two minor league teams (one managed by Danny Cox), and all the deserted city streets you can handle.  Though I've never heard St. Louis described as centralized.

RedBarron

Let's all go to New Fucking Orleans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

T Roogs

hotels in wrigleyville/lincoln park don't really exist. if they do, they are the ones mayor quimby takes hookers too.
Bearfucker! Do you need  assistance?!

It's kind of in the middle of the Country.

I'm with Baines, wherever it is, I'll show up.  Would have signed up for the tourney real early this year but work fucking sent me to Finland.  I see why Dark Side just wants to ass fuck chicks over there, they are nice.

I'll bring several cases of Sportz for Baines.  dee-nee to texas.
I ain't no god damn son of a bitch
You better think about it baby

I like the New Orleans Idea.

I think Milwaukee would be fun.  If we got a hotel near water street, that is where most the good bars/strip clubs are.

Another idea would be to plan it on a weekend of Summerfest.  Summerfest lasts 10 days so hits 2 different weekends.
Summerfest lasts until midnight, then we could hit the bars on Waterstreet afterward.
Plus, if we wanted to see a baseball game, there is no easier place to get tickets than Miller Park.

St. Louis is so spread out, it's silly, although there is riverboat gambling, so that's probably a plus.  And with Ted Drewes, when you want ice cream at 4 AM, there it is! (Yeah, I know they sell concretes, but I figure only 2 or 3 people here would have any clue what the fuck those are.)
dee-nee i love you because

ummm, frozen custard.   I concur that St. Louis is far too spread out for something like this.  Between Clayton, U City, the county, and the city itself, there's too much ground to cover.

We should do it in East St. Louis.

Weird - I just put a Vacation quote in another thread in response to you before reading this
Battle not with monsters lest ye become a monster, and if you gaze into the abyss, the abyss gazes also into you.

It's actually "Excuse me, Holmes?"

I think I'd be in for another Dee-Nee trip.  But only if RDub doesn't go.  It was decided at this tourney that we should only be allowed in the same state once every 4 years.

Very good discussion all around folks, lets keep it going.

How many people think having it at the dee-nee house isn't the best answer?  I understand Vit's points, but I think those of us at CBus will know that we didn't really need a whole load of places to visit outside you standard bar/food/etc, most of which is nearby.  And for those who would like to see the city, they can form a group and drive/train it there for an afternoon...

If everyone is down for springing for a hotel and sharing rooms with Internet friends, we can definitely do it as well.  Be it milwaukee or anywhere else...

If we decided on Milwaukee, we could go to a real baseball game instead of a minor league one.  Then you have tailgating, which is always solid...

Keep it going...

BDawk

What's the hooker situation like at the Dee-Nee house?

Gantry

There's Potsie and Lipitz's dog, both of which work for relatively cheap...

My brother got 15 of his friends together one weekend and rented a stretch Hummer H2.  Total cost was $800 bucks ($50 bucks a pop) and it included free passes for 3 different clubs in the city.  Anyone ever played RBI on the stretch H2 TV cruising down Lake Shore Drive?
