Do you guys ever say the exact same thing everytime certain guys are up....Such as, whenever Alan Trammel comes to bat we always say, "As Alan Trammel goes...So go the Tigers."  Everytime..Or Gary Carter, "Hall of fame catcher, and author, Gary Carter to bat"  Some others "Huffin and a Puffin, Big Daddy Rick Reushle"  These are just our idiosincracies within the game...

Whenever we'd pinch hit Marc Sullivan, we'd say "Marc "King of the Triple Play" Sullivan" for the one time my buddy hit into a triple play using him.

A few weeks ago my buddy Chubbs and I were playing a series.  He was the NL All-Stars and I got stuck with the Cardinals.  Needless to say, I won the five game series in three straight.

I took the wind out of his sails in the first game by coming up in the bottom of the ninth, down by two.  McGee got on, Pendleton and Lindman flew out.  Which brought up Tony Pena.  First pitch outta the park.  Game over.  The series was mine after that.

So now, whenever Tony Pena comes up, my buddy always has to say, "oh, here's the dick," and relive his horrific memory of my impossible victory.  Damn, I love RBI.

Your buddy, Chubbs must really suck.
You're going down, chainsaw.

He's actually pretty good.  The series I was referring to was the first of the night.  It takes him quite a while to work off the rust.  He doesn't have nes at his house and comes here to play mine.  Usually, by the end of the night we're about even.  That series was really an abomination.  But I still went deep with Pena to win it.

Everytime Jack Clark gets up to bat I yell "Jack Clark's a FUCK!".  I then follow it up with "I hate that guy."  I also tend to call Lou Whitaker "Man Whore" at least once every game.

We pretty much have a nickname for every single player during the atbat or swing.  We dont' bust them out on every AB, but a good 2-3 per game per player.  Yep, we're losers...

Baines

When Don Mattingly steps to the plate, everybody in the room has to be silent.
Also we have found that Don Baylor has a lot more success when referred to as Elgin.
I also make it a point to shout as much profanity as possibe when Doug DeCinces comes up to bat b/c he always manages to find a way to fuck me over.

There are a lot more things like that that we do but these are just the ones that come to mind right now.

Baines may have hit a homer with Baines, yelled Baines and immediately changed into a Baines jersey.

You know who's the best? Baines...

Gantry

Potsie prefers to scream out "D.B. Sweeny!" in the middle of a swing when he really needs a hit from Baylor.  Only does it once in awhile but it's quite funny...

BeefMaster

D.B. Sweeney?  Wasn't he the guy from "The Cutting Edge"?

Um, not that I've seen "The Cutting Edge" or anything...

Whenever Boggs comes to the plate you have to pause the game, grab a sharpie, and paint on a huge fake mustache - then and only then may you carry on.  As you can imagine, having sharpie ink globbed right under your nose can cause a serious headache.

When Bob Boone comes up someone always says (in a deep stadium P.A. announcer voice), "Ladies and gentlemen, it's Bob Boone Day today at the ballpark."

This can also be done when attending Reds games.  Well I guess not anymore actually.

Whenever Kevin Mitchell comes up to bat, I'll announce "Our hero, ladies and gentlemen..."

In the MST3K episode "Mitchell" starring Joe Don Baker, this is what Tom Servo said when we first see Mitchell passed out in the back of a squad car.  I'll also sing the "Mitchell" theme song on occasion, because as rdub will tell you, I love to sing.

there are also folks complaining about the lack of Bobby Grich, Dwight Evans, and Willie Randolph.

Nacho

Whenever Doran comes up for Ho, Strassy or I (usually me) says "Mrs. Roger Dorn" for a Major League reference.  Again, this happens EVERY time he comes up.

Also, when Strassy uses Boston, he always says "I'm gonna leave Spike in" whenever Spike Owen comes up.  Not because of some ritual, but because it is always a surprise that he would do something like leave Owen in the game.
