This Arcade RBIer became the 5th player in MLB history to play in 1000 consecutive games exactly 25 years ago today.
In addition he is a fucking idiot as evidenced by this quote that my MLB calendar credits to him:

Name the only two RBI'ers (and only two players in MLB history) to have a 30-homer season in under 100 games.
(Hint): One of them is also on the following list (twice) for players with 30+ homers with less than 100 Hits. The others are:
(1992) Rob Deer - 32 HR, 97 Hits
(1999) Barry Bonds - 34 HR, 93 Hits
(2004) Jose Valentin - 30 HR, 97 Hits
Guesses
McGwire and Reggie
McGwire's one of the correct ones, (32 HR in 89 G) in 2000. He also had 39 HR and 87 Hits in 1995, and 72 Hits to go with his 32 homers in 2000.
The other one's last name also starts with an "M"
I knew McGwire (he also is, along with Deer, one of the only players to have a 20-homer season and bat under .200).
Too early in the morning to figure out the other one.
Kevin Mitchell?
Rob Mdeer?
Yep, Kevin Mitchell is the other one, 1994, strike year. 30 HR, 77 RBI, slugged about .641 too. All under 100 games played, 95 I think.
Yeah McGwire & Deer each hit over 20 homers batting under .200 in a season.
Mac had 29 homers and hit .187 I think.
Deer had 25 or 26 and only hit .176!
Ruben Rivera was the other guy, 23 HR and about a .195 avg.
I didn't know about Rivera.
Deer is a fun guy to have around in RBI 3 (it's from the season before his .178/25 season) - his contact rating is terrible, but he has very good power, so you really have to make sure you get a solid hit.
Yeah. I especially love using the '84 Cubs. EVERY player has a ton of power if you swing correctly. I hit a 450-foot shot with Hatcher and Cotto a few times, and a 470-footer with (Mel?) Hall.
There's probably a longer list of active players from RBI 2 or 3. Probably not as long as you'd think though.
Ok name the player(s):
Four players in MLB history who played for the Florida Marlins, were still active in MLB at least one year in the 1970's. Three of them are RBI'ers (all hitters), and one's a pitcher who almost played in the 1960's!
Wade Boggs...d
EDIT: Sometimes I think the Marlins are the Rays
Dawson is one
assuming this isn't limited to RBI'ers, the pitcher is Charlie Hough
I almost guessed Dale Murphy, but he was with the Rockies, not the Marlins.

I saw he was an All-Star during a season he hit .206. How the hell was John Tudor not an all-star the year he wnet 21-8 with a sub 2 ERA. How bad could his 1st half have been?
He was 10-7 before the break and 11-1 after.
who holds the record for most hits in a world series game?
Will Clark?
My first thought was Robin Yount, but that doesn't make any sense...
Paulie Molitor?

The Ignitor.
Shame Molly missed 500+ games from injuries, otherwise he'd be up near or past 4,256 Hits, 2,295 Runs and 792 Doubles.
I have a good question for you all.
Name the all-time homerun hitting pitcher from RBI, and how many.
I have to get the results yet myself, but I guess you can start guessing.
Don Robinson. . . . .13 homers
Rick Sutcliff had a few. I'm going with Sutcliff.
Heard this one somewhere a couple weeks ago.
The only player to get a hit for two different teams in two different cities on the same calendar day.
Name that RBI'er.

Yngbld it is.
That card is a gem, btw.
Just found this one today...
Which RBIer, when asked it if was true that he was putting foreign substances on the ball, replied, "Not true at all. Vaseline is manufactured right here in the United States."?
Sutton?
Yessir.
God I'm good...
2 seperate questions...
This player hit the first homerun in my new house, and on my new TV... Pics to come soon. I get interwebs at home tomorrow morning.
This player was the first user controlled player to hit a homerun in the new house and on the new TV.

Name five players from NES RBI that were in the 1996 New York Yankees.
Raines?
Tim Raines is one, yes. Four more to go!
Straw
Doc
hJose
Dwight Gooden and Darryl Strawberry are correct, but not Canseco. He was on the '00 team.
Chili Davis?
Nope, Chili was on the '98 and '99 teams.
Jimmy Key? Clemens?
Clemens was on the later teams '99 and '00 for sure, but not '96. Jimmy Key is correct though!
There's two more NES RBIers actually, even though I initially asked for five. One should be fairly obvious (I'm surprised he wasn't guessed yet), the other is more obscure.
I think that predated Clemens' time in NY - I think one of his Cys with the Blue Jays was in '97.
How about David Cone?
Does it count as cheating that I'm pretty sure I just found one after looking at the NES rosters? Or is it not cheating until you actually look up the '96 Yanks? I will hold off on naming him until we get a ruling from the judges.
It's not cheating if you look up the RBI rosters, I mean, they're all right there on the dee-nee site X^D I guess it's cheating if you look at the '96 roster itself.
I have a handy roster on me to check, not just from my personal experience being a Yankees fan, but also from the '96 World Series poster I have in my room X^D
Oh and David Cone is correct, but he isn't in NES RBI X^D My question was specific to the first RBI game on the NES.
Checking my poster that I just mentioned, there's actually an even more obscure player out there, so feel free to guess the other two players left. I'm still stunned that a more obvious player hasn't been guessed yet.

You're supposed to have a roster - you're the guy who has to verify the answers.
Boggs was the "duh!" one I found, on the first RBI roster I looked at.
Why the heck did I think Cone was in RBI? My brain is worthless.
Boggs is right and I am relieved that he was finally guessed X^D
Since five have been guessed properly, I can safely say the obscure RBIer on the '96 team was Mike Aldrete.
Mike Aldrete? Holy crap, that was impossible.
Yeah I guess it was X^D But hey, now you know!
Well maybe if my question was to name five players from RBI 2 or RBI 3, maybe that would be valid! X^D
Jeter?
I lol'd X^D
Didn't Aldrete pitch that year?

I just looked it up, and yes he did - one scoreless inning.
I think Wade Boggs also pitched an inning during a blowout game, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't in the '96 season. We could use a 'RBI Position Players That Also Pitched Club' X^D

Who's the only RBIer to bypass the minors and go straight to the major leagues?
Gotta be Doc Gooden
Reggie?
No to both, it's probably someone you'd never expect.
It's probably a raw athletic power guy... batting and pitching would have to be evaluated if not developed at a minor league level. Probably someone who was brought in to make more of a defensive impact than anything else.
Ozzie Smith?
Vinny Coleman?
Lenny Dykstra?
Was Don Sutton old enough to be a bonus baby?
EDavis?
None of them either.
Pete Incavigilia?
Arod?
I would guess one of the old school pitchers...maybe Big Daddy?
How about Fernando?

gary pettis

It was Pedrique.
So I'm the smartest person ever?
Without cheating, name the youngest starting pitcher, reliever and batter in RBI
Gooden?
Yes
I knew Pedrique, damn
Batter = Santiago?
Reliever = Kerfeld?
Sullivan
Santiago is correct - Kerfield is close but I think he's 2nd youngest
I bet Julio is the oldest.
Reliever - Schiraldi?

Dave Smith?
Doug Corbet?

Yes
yes, ult7 is right?

These two RBIers made their MLB debuts in the same game and would play 19 seasons together (same team and stuff).
Also, same two players have appeared on Magnum, P.I.
Alan Trammel(l) and Lou Whitaker.
Yeah, fuck you too.
This RBIers brother, Ike Brookens, pitched for the Tigers in 1975.
This one's pretty tough, so, another hint.
The same RBIers son, Casey Brookens, is a high school coach in PA.
Rod Beck for the last two...
Surprisingly no.
Kenny Powers?
Gotta be Kevin McReynolds.
Walter Johnson
You guys are TERRIBLE at this!
Steve Lombardozzi
Yes!
Rickey Henderson, dolts!
Dennis Eckersley walked four batters in 1990. Which three RBIers were among them, and which one was intentional?
HINT: Two of the walks, including the intentional one, were to players on the same team (in both RBI and that season), but it was not their RBI team.
I got the info from a Posnanski column.
don baylor has to be one

Oof, good guess moran, must have been the game that Eck was traded
Mattingly and Randolph may be the only other possibility
They were teammates in '90 but not in '87, if that helps.
Ripken & Baines?

Winner.
There's really no way to guess the other one, so my new hint will be that the Twins are issuing a bobblehead of him this year together with another player, commemorating a famous moment in the World Series.
Ron Gant?
chili davis
Chilled Red?
Chili con queso?
Bumpst, what was the answer here?
I believe it was "Your mothers cunt."
That guy was awesome for a few years there
This RBIer has 1 ball
Johnny Single Sac
I've never seen the ump throw a 2nd ball into play, I think they all just use 1 ball for the entire game.
so you're saying i'm right?
The most homeruns each of these 300 win pitchers surrended to any one player was:
Sutton 12 HRs
Carlton 12 HR
Niekro 11 HR
One arcade RBIer holds all three achievements. Who is it?
Gantry's mom
Johnny Bench
Mike Schmidt
No
No
No
BDawk is the closest so far though.
Rod Beck.
Dave Kingman
Hank Aaron.
Hulk Hogan.
The correct answer is.....Johnny Bench.
Pretty rude to skip Gantry like that.
He hates getting pwned by me, tough to blame him really
I've jerked off no less than 21 times to Johnny Bench. Half the time I finished in my mitt...
...
Oh dear.
It's plain as day that you were the one who edited that post. This is really a slap in the face of all Dee-Nee, thinking we're too dense to figure this out. Folks, his disdain for us common people is so evident it's repulsive. It's time we organize.
Who did what now?
Oh dear, it appears that Gantry has correctly categorized at least one of us. You're still special to me, Reds.
I think he's having "issues" right now Reds, best just leave him be...

This RBIer was the first player to play with all of the 1st 4 expansion franchises

do you guess him for all these questions?

They were either the 9th or 10th expansion team, depending on where you want to put the Blue Jays, so no. Also, Don Baylor never played for them (not looking this up; I read his autobiography in 8th grade so I know a lot about his career)
It was Nolan Ryan, teams: Mets, Astros, Rangers, Angels,
