I just wiped my ass then smelled the toilet paper.  What's wrong with me?

A buddy of mine went to a Fort Wayne Tincaps game over the weekend and got to see Cam Seitzer, son of Kevin play this weekend.  Thought it was worth a mention.

I just moved and did a little rummaging through my baseball card foot locker. Found a couple cool pics from photo day at anaheim stadium. Just Rickey and Jim Abbott, but thought you fellas would appreciate. It's probably from 1989, is my guess.

Stadium: this is when they stadium was enclosed for football (LA Rams). You can see the football pressbox on the upper left that was removed later. Also the angle A on top of the color scoreboard that was added around that time. The angled A fell down during an earthquake, but its not The Big A that's currently in the parking lot next to the 57 fwy.

HOMERUN!

LOL the fielders all look like a bunch of pudgy Eric Cartmans.

You know how when a fielder catches a ball, with both arms up?  Just picture a field of Links from Zelda holding Triforce, lol.

Listening to the Twins' radio postgame report, and the other radio guy just quoted Vanilla Ice lyrics to Dan Gladden, saying that he assumed he'd go out driving with his ragtop down so his hair can blow.  Gladden at least seemed amused.

Strwby
I was chatting with another Mets fan the other night. We couldn't get over Kirk Gibson winning MVP over Straw in 1988. Straw had 39 homers and 101 rbi's. Gibson was okay, but 25 homers and 76 rbi's don't add up to MVP. If you don't give it to Straw in 88 then Orel Hershiser should have got MVP along with his Cy Young.

Gibson seems like a weird choice, but then again that Eck homer in the WS will erase all doubts.
